Sides chances are good most of the folks wouldn't be able to understand one word I said, using this fine soft southern voice dontcha know

"There's these two fellers standin on a bridge a goin to the bathroom. One feller says, the water's cold. The other'n says the waters deep. I think one feller's from Arkansas. Get it?"

Getting some PM's on the saw assembly race, and so as to open it up to more guys I'm going to change the format thusly. (How often do you get to use the word "thusly"? Must be the gin and tonics)

We'll just have one saw, and anybody that wants can have a crack at it. Got to get at least 3 guys to give it a go. Best time wins. I have a ratty looking, but well running saw that we will use. I won't reveal the model, because I know a few of you guys have saws from this family and might practice. I guess the winner gets to keep the saw along with the untold praise and stature bestowed upon the victor here on the site. ("bestowed" hardly gets used more than "thusly") There will be some minor prizes for 2nd through 5th place. I will set a base time, or "par" before the event, that I will brag about if no one beats me, but if someone blows me away I'll claim that I don't remember what it was.

Swap meet: Like Jwalker said, this can be a lot of fun. The project you might have lost interest in might just be the parts someone else was looking for to complete their own. We all have way more junk than we can transport to one of these things, so post both what you might want to part with, as well as something you are looking for.

In addition to everyone bringing chaps and eye protection, there is another item I want to pass along for everyones' well being. Beowulf67 is indeed going to bring his old family recipe stuffed peppers. I strongly suggest that everyone stear clear of that tray! I really don't think that any of you folks are going to like them. Besides, there will only be about a dozen of them, which might last me about a week at most.

If the aforementioned (not used enough either) saw is of the orange and cream color, is it against the rules to sharpen the bar and use it as an axe?

And a village idiot from Virginny in a row boat below with a rain coat and a tape measure.

aww come on niko lol. i couldnt even imagine what a ticket would cost to fly from there.

$848; Boston or $855; New York, both round trip on Iceland Air. Not that bad really, but Niko has his reasons and we should respect them.

Anybody up for a trip to Norway?

Bump

Leeha,

Are you bringing the Skil 1690 to Spike's? My neighbor may come down and would like to make a cut or two.
