Bump.

Looking forward to it. :)

Yes, me too. I hope to have that "mint" 930 Super to play with.

I also plan on having, if I finish it, a very special Jonsered/Husky model: The 372XP 04Ultra SS. The "SS" isn't for Ultra's initials, it stands for "Sunburn Special". A custom saw crafted from select Husky parts having at least 4 distinct shades of orange, all wrapped around a nice red Jonsered fuel tank, made even more colorful by the use of those bright green E-tech fuel caps. (This saw was shown at the recent Woodstock art festival, and the critics loved it, awarding it best in show honors.)

Did your saw beat the Dolkita (or Makmar) blue, gray, orange and black saw with the Husqvarna bar?

I fired up the SS last night, but I botched one of the seals, so I'll have to re-do. Sounded good though. I like it with the Red tank under there.

I upped my wood order a little bit yesterday also. I wish he'd call me back to confirm, cause the wood is somewhat of a key ingredient here.

We also have some 8" x 8" hemlock cants to do some informal run offs. Guy on each end type of thing. Not going to get into stop watches and keeping score.

How many guys are looking to do the camping deal? If there are a bunch of you, I'll more than likely camp one night myself.

Pb and myself make two. We will be there Fri night and Sat night. Talked to George today but failed to ask how many others had made res. He said they were putting all us saws guys right along the creek.

I wonder if anyone will go for an unintended swim?

Spikes GTG #2

Worked on some chains and saws for Spikes GTG today.
Going to be traveling lite, so I'm bring a 238se, 346xp, 262xp and a 372xpw.
I'm saving room for another saw on the return trip!
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Hey Jack, Did some prepping myself today........went to the local farmers market to get ingredients for stuffed green peppers and tuned up both the Jred 2094 and 2051. Look forward to seeing you again and checking out that nice 262. See ya this weekend.

Same here. Spent about 5 hours in the garage doing some final wrenching on saws. Might have to do some tuning at Spikes, not sure i will be able to get to it this week.

City? This place is barely a town; we refer to Kingston as the big city. The address is correct. Just look for the place with all of the school buses and you'll be there.

Bump....

I'm rather excited. :greenchainsaw:

Yup, me too. It also looks like we will have a rather good chance of getting rained on too, but the forecast isn't any better for Sunday, so we're going to roll with whatever we get. We have a couple of canopies/tents and Husky has their own as well for the outdoor stuff, and we can hang in the showroom and eat in there as well if need be. I'll post some more particulars later on today. I was in PA the last couple of days at an Exmark meeting, so I haven't been checking in on the site.

In addition to everyone bringing chaps and eye protection, there is another item I want to pass along for everyones' well being. Beowulf67 is indeed going to bring his old family recipe stuffed peppers. I strongly suggest that everyone stear clear of that tray! I really don't think that any of you folks are going to like them. Besides, there will only be about a dozen of them, which might last me about a week at most.

:ices_rofl::ices_rofl: Wait until Beowulf67' wife reads this...you might be in trouble :hmm3grin2orange:

If I were to residing in the states, this GTG would be all mine...

Dagnabit, I'm going to miss another GTG at Spikes

The spousal unit browbeat me into committing to go to the Warrensburg Giant Yard Sale on 10/03. Nutz!!!!
