Stihl 260 Pro

Just bought a 260 Pro today and love it. I got it outfitted w/ an 18" bar w/ .325 26RMC3 green chain. When I was buying it, the salesman mentioned that if you put a yellow chain on it I should change the bar, is this correct? If so, what bar should I change to and do I need to change anything else?

No, you dont need another bar. Just make sure its 26RSC. Thats a full chisel non-safety chain. You're running semi-chisel safety chain. You can find out the difference between full and semi by doing a quick search if you're in the dark.

you shouldnt have to change the bar..........unless the other bar helps reduce kickback
