I should know what is wrong, but no . I have used a stihl FS 450 for years with little trouble, it has now become indispensable. Recently, I bought another from eBay as backup.(non runner) It has good compression and will start and tick over But...when I open the throttle revs do not pick up and it spits fuel from carb, then eventually stop. I have swapped carb from my known runner to this one with the same result. It is possible that the flywheel has moved on the crank but ? The fuel is my normal chainsaw fuel at 50-1 and is satisfactory in everything else.
