Scrounger of Cellulose Based BTUs
I don't know if this was posted already:::

Why do I have a feeling that this started as a bunch of guys tossing around ideas by the camp fire, with an "I bet you can't..." moment ??? Either way, it's cool as hell. I wonder how long a tank of fuel lasts.
Pros (that I can think of):
Cons (that I can think of):

Pros (that I can think of):
- Great power to weight ratio.
- Being a jet turbine, it's constant torque.
- Having a geared down drive train, it's going to be a torque beast.
- Turbine engines require less maintenance than piston engines.
- Little to no vibration.
Cons (that I can think of):
- That exhaust will need to be redesigned to not torch the forest.
- Dirt/dust in the intake will be a problem in very dirty environments.
- If you're working with a crew, unless everyone has this saw, you're going to need a separate fuel supply.
- If they ever bring it to the market, it's not going to be cheap. Replacement parts are going to be equally not cheap. (Engine tolerances will be tight - I doubt the Huztl engineers can pull this one off )
