and as if by magic - it appears! Minus 3.7%, the robbing *******s... :D

Last I knew, in the USA at least, a 'personal' account could accept a few non credit card transactions a month for free.
Gologit asked me to pay for him, and that would be non credit card, but it seems like the premier/business accounts get charged the CC fees even if the payment is money already sitting in paypal accounts.

Cheers fellas! two days to go...
Orange Hill - I don't want to force anyone to contribute to charity - they might not want to, they might have a different charity they would rather donate to, etc... But I'd think Cancer Research will get a nice big cheque, regardless. As promised, I will add $200 to the donation myself as we have passed the 200 badge mark - hopefully they'll send out one of those daft letters thanking "The Members of Arboristsite" for their donation, hehe. Darin, the site owner (who spells their name like that? The man must be a fool. a FOOL, I tell thee!) can have that to hang on the wall if he wants, it's not my idea of interior decorating style!

Patrick. (currently drinking Maker's Mark in front of a big log fire... my spelling will deteriorate through the night... :D)
Any one that would drink that foul smelling swell would drink any thing.
Try Black Jack next time. :greenchainsaw:
Already down for 6

If it turns out that I owe any additional fees for transactions or whatever let me know and we'll settle up.

LOL...I'm glad we're getting the number crunchers in on this...it's starting to get complicated.

Jack, Maker's Mark, Wild Turkey and Jim Beam Black are my whiskeys of choice from the american stuff over here - Would love to try Knob Creek but It's not sold anywhere I can see!

Patrick...

Could you post a list of all of us who have asked for tags and the quantity so that we can be assured we are on the list? Just a suggestion...Carl

Carl - this IS the list! a few more by PMs, one by email, but the numbers are rising fast and anyone who has posted in this thread with a number required can be assured they are on the list.
Good news is, I rang the guy today and he is off sick with the flu - they have other staff there, but as he's the owner and the man who knows his stuff, I'm not going to deal with anyone except him directly. So he may be off for a day or two, which means I can keep the ordering open - helps everyone out!

Cheers,

Patrick. (currently nursing some rather scratched, cut and sliced hands from felling my largest tree ever - will post pics later and buy a decent pair of gloves!). On the Turkey 101 tonight...

Only once they have arrived at my door, been photographed against a NOS badge and approved by you people - if they aren't up to scratch I'll refund back everything via Paypal and do a chargeback on my credit card. I am sure they will be great though, the maker knows his stuff. They'll be posted the day after I recieve payment most likely, due to time differences. Post from the US to here typically takes 7-8 days, I would assume the same applies the other way round!

5

5 please.

All good whiskey has a cork - even bad whiskey with a cork is a good whiskey. Reason being, when you open the bottle you throw the cork on the fire - that means you have to finish the bottle that night. :)
The cost is still $2.25 per unit - it'll come down some as the order is larger, but it's not a huge drop. He gave me prices for 150, 175, 200, and there were maybe 20 cents difference between them - most of the cost is in the set-up, after that it is just machinery.
When I speak to him next I'll tell him the whole story about the charity donations etc. and maybe Cancer Research will give him a letter to put on his wall too - looks good for a store, makes them look honest.
I am currently as skunk as a drunk, or whatever.
No sleep last night, nothing to eat yet today (shortly to change!), just chilling in front of the fire and feeling quietly proud of all you fellas and myself, for raising this money for a VERY worthwhile charity. It'll make a difference. I smoke 40 Marly reds a day and drink like they're going to ban alcohol, I'll probably benefit from their research!

And in this condition you drop the largest tree "ever"??? :jawdrop:

currently nursing some rather scratched, cut and sliced hands from felling my largest tree ever -

Patrick, Patrick, Patrick. How many time do we have to tell you? Don't fell trees when you are drunk...and use a chainsaw -- NOT your hands!

:hmm3grin2orange:

It's in me blood! Actually, the blood is out of me - I forgot my rapist gloves so ended up scratched up all over and realised I need a tiny limbing saw to go up trees with - the 041 is a bit on the heavy side, has no chain brake likes to wind it's own idle speed out until the chain spins, etc.
K9 - MY largest tree ever that isn't going to fall onto open ground if it goes the wrong way... it falls onto the nice new garage/ man beer drinking den. I've happily felled far bigger trees, but that's on 100 acres of dead land, not my best mate's back garden - and I like his garage. It has beer and whiskey in it and an MGa MGB, and a Mini Traveller (the woodie one)...

I'll take 4.

Gentleman Jack for me. Well, I've been giving the ol' liver a little rest since Jan 1. Can't fast forever. As soon as Sierra Nevada puts up the ESB- I'm a gonner.
