Been thinking about a 880 for a milling saw (bragging rights also)
But I have never seen one in person until today, it was on a shelf
just about head high with a little sign "Do not remove from shelf"
So I have yet to touch one.......and no I did'nt ask to.

Thats one damn big saw, like I said love at first sight.....but she
scared me a little also...........I like that too ;)

MS880, 47" BC = $1869.00 scared me too :chainsawguy:

YEah it's a beast...I wanted one and bought a cheap burnt up 084...Then rebuilt and have a ton of money in it and it is still 20 years old.....BUY THE NEW ONE!!!!lol.

Lake, Dentures are much cheaper than crowns...... ` :D

Yep.. as I keep telling my dentist - it's an ecomonic choice.. He tells me implants are only $5000 each tooth...

They're 1600 with a 48 inch BC here in Illinois. And my cousin can get them for 1400 with his discount(dealer comes and grinds stumps for him so they discount his saws, and if I catch my cousin in a good mood he'll get me discount saws:biggrinbounce2: ) Evan

That seems like alot of money $1200 32"BC and thats canadain dollars. But don't be scared just buy it you will love the power

Might have to sell my 084 to get one......

In a fit of pique, I bought a NIB MS880 for $1200. Then I turned around and bought a nice 088 Mag for $800. And I already had an 084 (which I won't trade for anything) and an 090AV.

Not sure what I'm trying to accomplish but I think I've suceeded.

I'm with you on the 084. They just look a bit sexier than the 880 IMO. The manual oiler is great too. Now, you just need to send me that 090....:D

1. Buy blender and plenty of straws.
2. Give the dentist the finger.
3. Pull all your teeth...infront of dentist.
4. Move to middle of nowhere location.
5. Buy 880 and keep it within arms reach at all times.
6. Live happily ever after.

Since when do you need teeth to cut wood!! Buy it, if you change your mind you will get all your $$$ back!
