Stripped holes in plastic handle?

Self taping could mean quite a variety of products that are out there.

Once you figure out what sort of fastener goes into those Husqvarna brass inserts please post back. Is it a machine screw like 5mm diameter and some logical threads per mm with thread angle of common machine screw or more the sheet metal self forming type thread. My guess is they are the machine screw as they say can be used in magnesium.
 
The newest thread on the stripped holes in plastic is from 2017, that’s three years ago. I asked because maybe there’s a new repair.
Just a thought: If you find a good thread and have an additional question on that topic, ask it in that thread......

Guys will probably give you a lot less crap if you ask questions in that manner.
 
The insert is listed as used for repairing the threads in the case of my 562xp manual. They are 5mm by .8 pitch.

First fix, #1
No drilling just install these screws there more coarse than the originals only 2 mm shorter than the originals there 14 mm long buy tightened up solid. Easiest fix McMaster Carr very fast shipping, $10/25 screws.
