Hello John Paul,
Yes it is a lot of money to build a winning hot saw but when you finish first or second then its worth it. After 15-20 races at 100.00 for finishing first your almost even. enclosed is a photo of my 3120 husky. It would cost about 2000.00 to have it built

omg!! thats an expensive hobby!!! i wish i had all you all's money/success - whatever you wanna call it - im just lucky to have my 372xp thats kicking butt so far in the firewood world...very interesting and fun though! ++++ and i have an airfilter - i bet the tillotsons would plug the piston up pretty quick somewhere outside the "stihl timbersports" pine logs....
Hello Tundraotto,
Rhe only difference between men and boys is the cost of their toys.Thirty years ago I had the latest version of a bellanca decathalon airabatic airplane. Now thats where you can spend some money! But don't worry right now you've got a new 372 that madsens massaged. now before long you will want to cut faster. bigger saw, modified more. then you'll be looking for some local competitions and after a couple of firsts you'll be hooked. but its money well spent. it really grows on you to outcut all your buddies chainsaws

Hi Ken, what I dont like here in the East, is the dead start, 3 cut, 8" cant thing they got going. Like Art says, it's like running the 100 yard dash, but having to tie ones shoelaces first, but alas Daniel is a master.
