Instead of a roundabout BS answer like this
You should have just said "Gee, I don't know, I was talking out my *** here. Hopefully someone with REAL knowledge can clue me in
Yeaaa, I could have said that....but then I would have had to tell a lie, and that's something I'm not willing to do.

You need to work on that "thin skin" a bit, so you won't get so upset when you are posting...

Well, I looked and I couldn't find much info about the inventor of the Supersplit.

However, it does make me feel good reading the website and knowing the Mcann family is hard at work to bring us an American made product that imo splits wood faster than any other splitter I have used including a Timberwolf TW-5, TW-6 and an American AM-25S, and it costs less than half as much.

I admit, the American and the TW are better suited for big rounds and gnarly pieces, but for the majority of what I encounter the SS handles them fine and a log lift would be the icing on the cake. Anything the SS can't handle the 7900 and 460 can rip through first.

If you want a log lift for your Super Split, look at Agrifab's web site. They claim their lift will fit a Super Split as well as their own splitter.

Agrifab owns/makes Split Second, which is the unit I mentioned in my first post. I would prefer to give the business to the good people at Supersplit than a large company that outsources many items/jobs to foreign countries.

The split second lift works great on my splitter!Great investment!! I have the Howard Ohio splitter .
