Let me know what you find, need a bucket saw that runs good and starts good brand does not matter.

Any of you guys with a working knowledge of a Homelite 330, have or know where I can get a transfer hose for it. Not much on this brand. It's a favor for the good BIL. About 3'' long 3/4 in diam. has square end that goes to the jug round end mounts on the carb plate. The one on it is broken all up and I need a good one. No part # have had no luck finding that either. Let me know, cash or have parts for sthil or husky.

o.k. though i have some oldies that may work, like a twin trigger homey xl2 that runs o.k...........................
you really need a more modern saw then what i had in mind.

i have a husqy 335xpt.

it looks pretty good, has 150+ compression, and seems to run o.k.......
except you have to keep blipping the throttle to keep it alive.

i suspect that it needs a carb rebuild, but i cannot guarantee thats it.

the only known issues it has other than that are that it neads an air filter and the thumb nub for the on/off switch has been replaced with a small screw. the switch still works fine.

i can see if a cleaning and diaphragm kit fix it up or we can swap for it like it is...

whatcha think?
whatcha got to swap?

Here you go, point it out to me. Sounds like the oiler impulse hose and if it is you can just use a tygon line.

Here is the IPL

I have a fair amount of 044 plastic and I'm wondering if anyone wanted to swap for some 026 plastic?

I dont have any 026 plastic, but you got any good top's without the decomp? Mine is a lot darker than the newer HD filter cover and base that is on the saw.

Duh, I don't know what I was thinking, but I'm betting your right that he needs a carb boot.

Kyle from Edge and Engine can hook you up with a new boot for sure.

Might as well plan on replacing all the lines while your in there and Kyle has the original style Homelite lines for it also and is the best in the world to deal with.
