just wondering if anyone knows where to get some chain boxes cheap? I just bought a few rolls and want to keep all my old misc loops sorted somehow... I thought keeping them labeled and in the little cardboard boxes would be nice! Been using too much acid around the shop on cylinders and it tends to tarnish the chains too quick... Wanting to lube them and put them away in the cabinet.

Any ideas? does Bailey's sell their woodland pro chain boxes? Or if anyone just has a ton of them sitting around... :msp_biggrin:

Other options: Sandwich baggies or those sandwich-sized plastic resealable containers. Both at the dollar store for cheap.

Better option: Get better ventilation when using acid, your lungs will thank you! I set up a couple of fans pulling the fumes away from me and out the door. Don't let those vapors settle on something you like.

I hear ya'll... I do need better ventilation in the shop... unfortunatly I'm a renter so putting in something that would give good ventilation isn't cost effective right now. However I do have a small fan and am planning on hooking that up with some flexible hose to an old gas vent that used to be to the garage heater.

Either way I was just curious where to get the boxes since i have a couple reels of chain now. Ted, I already use the baggy method but it makes it difficult to sort and organize my chains the the old metal kitchen cabinets I have in the shop. Was looking for a CHEAP stackable option to keep organized... I might have to check the price on the gladware containers but I suspect they would cost me just as much if not more than the little card board boxes. Oh... and just so we are on the same page... I need like 50-100 containers... Just figured someone somewhere would be selling the boxes in 50-100 packs for .25-.50/box...

I know i'm probably being a picky arse, but I'm starting on my new years resolution early... Get organized and stay organized. Chain is just one of those things where the loops are hanging and laying everywhere.

Looking for a small mount husky 20" 3/8 .050.

Got a new 20" LARGE mount, 3/8 .050 has cut like two or three cookies. Will trade straight across if in decent shape.

Or got an old large mount husky 32" 3/8 050. Nose is a little loose. Will trade it. Then got a 18" small mount 325 bar that I will be replacing with the 3/8 20" small mount.

Here are the bars up I have that I'm willing to trade for a 20 small mount 050 3/8
