yeah I don't think the 112-6800i style will work. I wish they did make a pro rim style sprocket for them so I could play with 6-7-8 pin on 325/3/8lp...

I'll check that one out on ebay. Wonder if the 510/460 style rim would work. Anyhow thanks for the help guys!

Also anyone got a 40mm 400/401 top end? just curious and thought i would ask... the 33cc 37mm top end on a 341 is a bit anemic!

Did you try a MM and retune? It helped my 401 immensley.

Nate, the smaller Dollies use a different sprocket than the 420-5100 size does.

Sorry to crush all your dreams and stuff.

So what are my chances of finding a rim sprocket to fit? 0% chance??? it would be nice to have a rim instead of spur. Maybe I can get shaun to tig a Stihl mini spline on my old rim for me...??? it would be cool!

Sorry for the Bad Pictures.Nope that spot below the Intake port is Bare aluminum.Had Piston transfer there that Bubbled when I added the Muratic acid.Nothing else in the cylinder bubbled and Fizzed. Anyway it is Plated but the Chrome came off from that spot up the Port Bridge and stopped right at the upper side of the Intake port.I have a Picture of the Piston but it's on my phone and can't transfer to here.May move the Pictures over to the 3400 Antivibe post to ease up congestion here.

Take a picture of both sides of the piston and post that, I think you have a chrome piston....The bore size and 1.5 rings indicate chrome piston......and if you want a 3800 p/c assy send me a pm......

Let me see what I have tomorrow. I may still have a carcass floating around but I'm not sure if anyone has had indecent liberties with the flywheel. Will let you know something by 10 EST tomorrow morn. If I do.. it's yours.

I've got one...now to pop it off.

I don't see a rim conversion on Oregon's selector, and strangely they list the PS341 but not the PS401 or DCS401 spur sprockets.

Maybe one of the Dolmar delaers here could help out. They may have an OEM rim/drum.

Your idea of tigging a mini-spline shaft onto a drum might work IF they take the same size needle bearing. Concentricity would be pretty critical, and I suppose you could bore/bush to get the rigth fit. BTW, the Dolmar 100 (earlier version of the PS341) used a bronze bushing rather than needle bearing.

Anyone have a parts TS510?

Looking for the rubber buffers on the bottom of the saw.. there are three I believe, one rear and two frontwards.

Need 2X : 4205 790 9301

And 1x : 4205 790 9300

If nobody has em.. Are they still available?

That's the first thing my crews destroy on a saw.. then the water hook up. Why cut down on that dust?!

Good luck.

I have two 3400's one series 1 and one 2 they both have plated pistons and bores.

3400's don't have plated bores. They have plated pistons and bare bores. Same with 3800's. The 3700, 4000, and the Poulan Pro 375, 385, and 395 have plated bores and bare pistons. The bare bore Poulans in this series (3400, 3800) have thick rings. The chromed bore saws have thin rings. The P/C sets on these saws are all interchangeable as assemblies, as the crankcases and crankshafts are the same for all models.

If they have plated pistons...................they don't have plated bores. Only one of the two surfaces (piston or bore) will be plated (not both). Did you look at the rings? Thick rings in these saws means plated piston and unplated bore....

056? super? magnum? I have a stash of them. send me a pic of it and Ill try to match the finish wear.

Brian-

I can do that but you're gonna have to take the entire case with the crank installed.

that will work ,i asked him if it was a super ,he said it said magnum on it ,i didnt think they said magnum that old ,but i guess he was right

Thanks Jacob

I'm in the market for some more poulan chainsaws. Not interested in the walmart saws but more along the lines of the 2700, 3000, 3300 3450, 3750, 3700,4000, 4200 and larger. All I have for trade is a paypal or possibly a new 550xp but it wont be going anywhere for a 3300 straight up just so ya know lol. If interested PM me. I'd rather deal with cash than the 550.
