I am in need of an 076 crank and case.. I have all the other parts I need... have some poulan to trade and a ms362 crankcase with fw/clutch/ignition. I think the bearings in it are bad and have no idea if the coil is good or not...
But no bacon Duke......

051/075/076 share the same crank, although there is a variation in MediaCat, anyone know why?
I need the complete crankcase....with crank and oiler intact....
Poge,
I should, but I will have to take a look tomorrow, I have a couple of them out there that need busted down. I'll take em apart and take pics, you can select what you may need, or tell me to put em back where they came from!
I think most of the knowledge jumped ship once the hack went down. I have some 076/051 crank cases out in the shop. I will see if i have a oiler setupI believe I have some documentation on the way that may help identify stuff if necessary. There's some noise in the 050/051 thread about my situation, but no real expertise or input from anyone to help clarify the muddy waters on the subject.
But take pics of the clutch side from the clutch on down to the seal if you're gonna get that far into this. That could be huge in helping folks like me, especially if you have two of the different cases which create the dilemma in the first place!
I certainly 'preciate any help you may be able to provide!
Thanks, man.
Looking for a solid husky 288 muffler and a cylinder cover for a flat top 066. Have stuff and funds to trade.
266 is a different family of saws. No swappy swappy.
The 281 & 288 are in the same family, but the 181 used a different trigger-lever-link setup than the 281 & 288.
I think a clutch from a 394 may work on that saw.
