McCulloch 550 needs a new home

I am not gonna be tinkering with this saw, as it is just too much for my back to handle, so it's up for grabs and needs a new home. It has serious compression, but won't draw gas to the carb. I can spray a prime in it, and it fires and runs on the prime and sounds really beefy. Somebody PM me with a reasonable offer, and we can see where we go from there. It will weigh about 40 lbs or so packed up in a box to ship. When the rain and snow quits, I will hobble out to the shop and do a compression test and will post the reading.

I have a very nice homelite 750 that I have gone through with a 36" roller nose bar that runs very strong that I would be willing to trade for a running homie 3100G or an alpina 125.

A Contra S would work also.

C'mon sumbuddy sumwheres gotta have one o these that wants a 750.

I have an old McCulloch 310 that is branded as a Montgomery Ward saw. I believe it has a 2.1 cu. in. engine with a 16" bar. It starts, runs, and will cut wood, but is a pain in the arse to restart when hot. It also has a broken throttle cable.

I removed the handles, side covers, and bar in an attempt to fix it, but decided to say "to hell with it" and went out and bought a new Husky 435. I never did put it back together, so someone can have fun with that.

I also have the original manuals, swrench, and 2 or 3 chains for it, one of which may be carbide (let me check on this).

I'm interested in trading for a peavey, cant hook, chaps, 18" bar, good saw chain (either for the 16" bar or 18" bar).

I live in Knoxville, TN and would prefer not to ship this thing as it would probably cost more than the saw is worth. However, I am open to suggestions.

039 cylinder please.

Please, looking for a used 039 cylinder.I`m willing to pay a fair price.
