I am working on my buddy's saw which is a Husky 455 Rancher. The bar oiler won't work and I tore it apart to find the round threaded piece behind the clutch which the clutch spins and this spins the rod on the pump is junk. I don't know what you call this part. I don't have a Husky dealer near me and really need this part. If someone could help me out PM me. The #'s on the part are 5372526.

I don't have a extra one, but I will share this with you. On one I'm repairing the worm gear you are describing broke and tore up the crank seal causing a lean condition, this in turn fried the piston.

I would take a good look at the seal if any pieces came off of the worm gear.

Im tired of getting zapped!! I need an 015 spark plug boot. I tried a standard 90 degree boot, it won't work the plug wire is too short. The 015 is more like a V.

i have a 029 stihl if anyone needs it for parts or poss. rebuild. the top end is no good. not sure if it is scored or just needs rings.it is missing the recoil and the air filter cover. other than that the rest it there and the plastics look nice. i'm not interested in fixing it at all so if u need the parts we can swap for something i need or want or $$$.
