OK guys got a little back log on this stuff right now. Several interested. Jacob J. has the 153 and 394 cylinder spoken for. The other items are still availabe but there are some pictures going out and dealing going on. I have pictures of the 031 and 041 but am still digging on the 268 type stuff and 288 type stuff. The 031 is complete and even some of the rubber mounts good but it has low compression (100#). The rest of it is good and not broken, cracked or even faded. Mike

Rupe,
PM sent on 268 parts.

020 AV parts, now with photos

I finally gave up on the old 020 AV and bought a Husqvarna 435. Was going to put the parts on the Bay, but have not gotten around to it yet, thought I'd try here first.

Saw is from the early 70's. Well used, but still could be functional. Needs a carb or rebuild, piston looks ok from what I can see, kill switch does not work. I have taken it mostly apart. Bar oiler works great, never had any issues with it.

Usual condition items for an old not used everyday saw--Handles in good condition, AV mounts still in fairly good condition (the side handle one is about a year old). Muffler in good shape. Side cover in fair shape, a few marks. Single dog is in good shape. Recoil spring and cover plate in good shape.

Better items--Bar is in very good shape, newer, and have a great condition newer chain from Baileys, both with about 6 tanks of fuel usage. Bar is a Stihl Rollomatic E, 14 inches long, 1/4, 1.3 gap size, meant for a 72 link chain.

Not sure what I would want to trade for, I have a Stihl 066 but don't need much for it, already have the double port muffler. Maybe ripping chain for a 36 inch or 44 inch (double ended) bar. Or something interesting, or cash.

Finally got around to photos....at least they are attached.

I took it apart for Ebay selling, but don't really want to mess with it. Let me know if you are interested in any or all of the parts.

No left overs. No reviving on this one either, it was a runner when I picked it up.

Thanks. Looks like mine may be headed for parts land along with an 042 carcass to help the cause of four 028's (two Supers) and an 029 I got in a batch deal last week. Still trying to sort it all out to see what I have.

Hey..., Isn't that the real reason they invented brake parts cleaner in the first place?:hmm3grin2orange:

What's wrong with the 042?

What's wrong with the 042?

Mainly missing tons of parts including the handle. Case doesn't look busted up and it has a top end on it with a carb. Aside from that? Still an investigation in progress and tons and tons of crud. Main focus has been on figuring out what I have in the four 028's.

Hey, I only had eight cans of brake cleaner to start with. Cut me some slack!
