I`m yet to do it but i`m willing to learn on your 066 for the right price.
I'm looking for a muffler from a husky 141, 136, 41, or 36 to replace the cat muffler on my 141 LE.
I can buy a new one on ebay for 25, but I don't want to spend that much. If anybody has a used one that they're willing to sell, please send me a PM.
Help a noob, it'll get you into chainsaw heaven!
Thanks,
Scott

Anybody have a air filter for a Homelite original EZ- or Zip, whatever would work?
Little possum and Eccentric:
Double-check parts numbers or models they came from on air filters for the old Homelice models. They made them in different sizes for different models... some fit more than one model, but not all models.
Little Possum, I've got 4-5 NOS air filters for the old HL's, but not sure exactly for which models. Also have a few of the E-Z saws, including a couple of parts saws. I might pull one of those for you, if the NOS ones don't match to your saw. What are you working on?... an E-Z or a ZIP?
Eggszentrik, I might have a good P/C on one of the spare E-Z's... I'll try to get time to pull them out and look them over... Might take a few days...
OMG
Again, I'm not sure if the starter assembly on all HL WIZ's were created equal.
I got a WIX S55 which was missing the starter assembly, just like the saw you mention. The guy fired it up with a wrap-around rope off the cup when he brought it to me. Luckily, the same guy tracked back through 2-3 previous owners and found the missing starter and brought it to me. Now I just need to re-fit the pawls and work on the inside of the cup a bit to get 'er back right again.
I also have another good used starter assembly for a Super WIZ saw, which I got before the guy brought me the original one. It doesn't match-up on the 55 and I think may fit on a 66 or 77... Again, we need to check PN's... or see if the original model paint is still on the starter...
I've got a lot of NOS Homelite parts from 1955-1982. Bought all the shelf-stock of a dealer who switched to selling european-made saws after HL (Elux?, JD?) started screwin'-over their dealers in the 1980's by making the saws in another country, selling through K-Mart and WalMart and expecting the local dealers to do the warranty work. When he quit HL, he had a big parts inventory and they didn't buy them back from him. 26 years later, he dumped all of them and six saws off on me for some honey and some money. But I don't have all the lebenty-leben hunnert an' lebenty-twelve NOS parts sorted by PN's yet. I got them all dumped into five big 4'x4'x3' boxes, all mixed together... The saws were a really minty ZIP, four Super XL's, and a nice little MiniMac 35 in a good case... Maybe this Winter I'll get time to organize the old parts by numbers... meanwhile, it's sorting through mixed piles in the big boxes (kinda like bobbing for apples in a tubful of water) and seein' what you come up with...
Does that Mac 77 use the same chain adjuster as other saws in the 3-25 series?
Thanks OMG.
Ill check and see what I can find out.
And Eccentric, Mike acres has the IPL for the EZ!
I got to pull the oil tank off of mine since the plunger is frozen up.
Then gonna start working on the ZIP, it was supposed to be a parts saw, but is too good of shape to part out.
