I just read your thread Will. What a job. I have a 1972 Classic Motorboat with a Chevy in-line six. I've had it for at least 15 - 18 years. It's been in my barn now for around 6 years but still runs great. It's a mercruiser driveline and has been a blast to own. It only needs seats and interior work. The floor and engine stringers have been replaced with treated marine wood and reglassed. I just sort of lost interest in boating, seeing your restoration could send me back to it. :D

Wait till you see my new score I pick up the end of this week. You may rethink how many 30 packs your are sending me. I dont drink Bud Light either. I'm gonna need a few cases of yuengling porter :D

Wow Rick. You're on fire. Have you started a thread for your latest score yet? Looks like I need to start saving for the "Rick's Beer/Saw-Trade Fund" (RBSTF). I'm glad to see you're a porter fan. I've had Yuengling and liked it quite a bit. I'm a homebrewer, and I enjoy grabbing single bottles from the vararious 'real beer' isles at BevMo to see what style I wanna emulate next. I'm also spoiled because we have many many excelent brewpubs in the area. If you ever make it to the left coast I'll take you to a few.

When I was a drinker we would only drink PBR when the mudholes dried completely up.

I like PBR. It's about the only domestic pilsner that I can drink anymore. Had a few with RandyMac last weekend as a matter of fact.

Nice project you have going there. I'm a member on that site too. Good place with knowledgable guys just like here. I'll get in line on that 115 if you ever get rid of it, love those older Johnson and that one looks clean!...... It would do wonders for my 24' Lowe Pontoon!

Thanks! Ya I lucked out getting that outboard, its all original for 1984 and it looks brand new!! Some old guy owned it and never used it.

I must be flippin' nutz. I have a pair of 009's and a pair of 011's here for rehab. I thought if I ignored them long enough, they'd go away. No such luck. Last time at the dealer he hands me a complete 009 with a bad coil, and then HANDS ME THE NOS COIL IN THE BOX!!!! Guy bought the coil, and couldn't figure out how to put it in. Dealer didn't want to mess with it, so he saved it for me. Thanks......

So I need a points box cover for a 009, and at least one 011 carb.

Alternately, a sledgehammer would work

Plenty to trade

I have a pretty complete 009 you could have for parts, motor is seized, get the parts you need off it and use the rest for a boat anchor.

i`m willing to trade labor or mechanic work for anything that might peak my interest, i`ve grown up around and spent most of my life working on cars and trucks, i`ve got ford dealership experience and training when I was younger as well as lots of experience with cummins, powerstroke and duramax engines as well industrial and OTR diesel engines.

I can work at my home or come to you and since I live in the middle of nowhere and have no job my schedule is WIDE OPEN :greenchainsaw:
