Hello to everyone what a great site! I have 084 that I have rebuild with oem parts. I am needing a muffler new or used in good condition. I have 2 brand new outer casing so if someone atleast had inner part of muffler. My research has let me know that it is NLA thru Stihl. Any aftermarket mufflers??? Call Scott @
816-719-9547 if you can help

I have a muffler with 1124/05 on the side. I think that makes it 084/088, but I don't know if there were multiple versions. I got the muffler in a box of random parts, so I have no idea exactly what it came off. It is not shiny and new but it is structurally sound. If you're interested, send me a PM and I can send you a picture or two.

maybe?

I got a Partner 500 that I'm needing chain brake parts for.

I have a 400 in rough shape as a saw, it's a hulk and locked up,major parts missing, but the chain brake assembly looks complete and functional. The decal has one tiny tear in it. Will this fit your saw? If so and you want it, PM me, I got a few pics I just took.

I'm not sure, pm sent.

Looking for a bar that will fit a mac 610, .050 70DL

Chris

Hiya Chris,

May have one of those for you. Came off an Echo CS451VL. Same bar mount IIRC. It's an Oregon 'banana' curved-tip sprocket nose though. I'll double check the length and DL count if you're interested. May have a loop of chain for it too. You could consider it a 'partial payment' for that 011AV!:D

Also have a 28" cut lenght bar and a loop of .404 chain for the X-10/PM700/CP81/etc saws that I could send you with it. That'd get me close to being even methinks. Just a thought...

Edit:Just remembered that the 28" bar is a hardnose and has a small bit of the rail chipped out of it. Hasn't affected the performance of it, but it is there. Could send you a pic. It is a nice pretty lookin' earlier grey/black PM bar...

Old bar measures 12 1/2" O.A.L. Hard nose, .050". Chain is 42 DL x 3/8"P x .050". Good chain!

Nose is shot and DLs are dragging the bottom of the groove.
Been all over Baileys and found nutin'.

Got a lead?

The shortest bar that Baileys lists for that saw is 12"/48DL (with a 12.5" overall length and 42DL, your old bar is a 10" cut length).

Here are the 12" bars listed on Baileys.

If you really want to reuse that chain and run a 10" bar, then try www.chainsawr.com. Scott is a site sponsor, and his banner ad is at the top right of the screen. Look for the brown banner with the red chainsaw on it. I believe I saw both used and new bars for that saw on his site. Can't remember if any of 'em were 10" though. Maybe the used ones. Otherwise, I'd suggest going to www.edgeandengine.com (also a site sponsor) for a new bar.

Take a look at that 20inch bar you got, I already have 4 loops of chain that will fit a 70 link .050 bar for my 610 and my PM700.

Been switching bars back and forth, which ain't no way to live.

I sent all my bars down to Virginia in a trade, and probably should have held one back, just in case.

Shoot me a PM and we'll hash it out

Chris
