ok the numbers stamped on it is 58961.and i'll ghet some pictures of it after i clean it up.

here is some pictures of the homelite inter felling dog.and i also got a chain tightner from the saw saw that was in the box with it.

That part number doesn't match anything I have found in my IPL's. Got a few more to look through later. My 'callibrated eyeball" says that dog is from an XL700/800/900 series Homelite (such as an XL800 or XL925).

Trying to help out the kid down the road.
muffler came loose so he tried to wire it on.
rattled so bad bolt tube tore out,etc,need another muffler.
this is one one of those 33cc or 35cc red box store saws..
Only one i have seen with the bolt holes OFFSET like this..
take a look in your piles and see if you have one that looks like this..
