I have most what you don't for the 028's.

Also have a poulan pro 260 I got out of a scrap pile, not the greatest overall condition but some usable parts.

Have a craftsman - red poulan top handle in lesser condition then the 260.

Also have an older blue xl12 homelite, with a broken handle mount on top and the bar is lightly bent I believe, it fires on prime,think it needs a fuel line, may be the carb gone through would get it going, or who knows. Compression feels good. I think its pretty much complete except the broken - bent prts and looks good for its age.

Have some bars,mostly new, most 20"and less, Husky mounts, Stihl, 16" fit old echo + Mac, some new and used small bars I'm not sure what all they fit but probably could figure it out if needed.

If no one else is ahead of me, i'd be interested in the 041 provided the ignition system is good.
Interested in new chainsaw chains 3/8 and .325 most any length if someone wants to trade theirs they don't need.
While I'm at it, I'm fixin for a friend, if I can find the parts way less then what new cost from stihl,a ts 400 stihl. Needs a flywheel,and coil, and I think the air filter cover and and the filter elements unless he has them at home.

May take me a day or two to get the 41 out of storage and checked. I do need an 18" 50 bar for husky 61.

I have a new "20 Windsor replaceable sprtp. 3/8 .050, no 18". Could add a new chisel chain, also.

I need a flywheel and a coil for a Homelite Super XL. I don't know what size it is, only Super XL Automatic. Has a UT. # 100451 on the tag. Looks to be from the 70s
Will any parts off of a Homelite 330 work on this model? Thanks.

Ahh, thanks for the old Dayton. Well I was scrounging around looking for some motorcycle parts in my shed and ran across a Dayton chainsaw I got from bro in law last year. Thing looks nearly identical to the Homie, so I pop the recoil cover off and pull the rotor off of it. The fins are a bit different and it is somewhat heavier than the Homie rotor, but it fits and runs well with it on there.
Is there any drawbacks to using this rotor on the Homie Super XL? Thanks.

does anyone have a 056 P&C they would want to part with Im open to any bore mm. please pm with what you got, Ive got $$$ and alot to trade aswell.

I've got 2, One looks to be a 54mm bore and the other a 56mm.Possibly 056S and 056MagII.
They are crankcases with topends.
I'll pull them down tonight and clean them up and see what shape there in.

Update: 2 good cylinders 54mm and 56mm, both pistons have cracked skirts(good ashtrays).Both bottom ends in good shape.

Anybody need a good used Stihl 031 cylinder? It's dirty, but looks to have good chrome. Don't see any transfer. Chrome's pollished but not chipped or scored. Found it in a box of 'misc' stuff when looking for another part. Trade for something of similar value that's Homelite/McCulloch/Poulan related (parts, bar, etc), or for a some crumpled green paper with pictures of dead presidents (to be traded on something Homelite/McCulloch/Poulan related). PM if interested. NO mini-macs PLEASE!!!!!:jester:

I suppose I should've stated "or XL2's". That wouldn't be my first choice for trade material. I actually do have one now (even though I've been avoiding them for 25+ years). I've worked on plenty of XL2/Super2 saws over the years, but never owned one. A member here sent me a nice little XL-Auto as a surprise. Runs now, but not quite right. Doesn't oil either. A carb kit, and some new lines will get it in 'full running' condition again. the Mrs. has taken a shining to it, so that's an unexpected benefit!

Now I need to figure out how to ship saws north of the border. Seems some hoser wants me to send him a neat little Remington/Wards SL-9 and a greasy little Skil 944. Never shipped out of the lower-48 before. That package is next in line. Got a few out lately. Also sending another AF cover to Ted J. I'm seeing a pattern here.....
