I'd be interested on the top-handle Skilsaw, & the Poulan 25/2300 (if DSS doesn't want it).

Missed one the other day, one is a 1612 the other is a 1614. Chris, if you want them, they are yours for shipping cost.

Poulan 23/25 has the white death on the clutch cover and appears to be locked up, misc. parts saw only. same deal.

I wish you luck, but I gotta say, that'd be the DAY.. parts saws are hard to come by, runners harder, good cylinders are now re-cast in 'unobtanium'

best bet,

Have yours sent out, and rechromed.... (assuming you have one...)

J

I know it will be a hard find but I have all the time in the world. I am going to look into having this one rechromed since it may end up as my only option. A whole saw just sold on Ebay a few minutes ago for $300 plus shipping, which would have been another $60 for me, but it was really rough and only claimed to turn over and have compression, no actual compression test. Can not honesty say if it was a 650 or a 750 because it had no markings and I could not find a ref to the A6153 UT number.

I was not aware that 750 jugs were that scarce. I do know that pistons are ultra-rare. Some jack-wagon was selling rings for those at around $100 a while back....

Looks like you and I may be in a sniper war in a few days. Sorry in advance.

The last new 750 piston I sold went for $165 cash in hand. Looks like I might be hanging on to my last one...

Hi Tim...

do ya now ;) :poke:

You still want that box of scored 290 pistons? I have some nice cracked fuel line, and 18" segments of starter rope too.

J/K, did JJ fix you up on 55 flywheel and A/V bushings?

Looking for a right side crank case for a husky 61,268, or 272

Thanks
Let me go digging. I have some stuff to ship tomorrow anyway.

Sorry, I have diddly here. I do have 3 sets of good matched 61/266 two-piece coil cases, though.

:bang: I don't need a WHOLE box of 290 pistons, just one, or two.

can't ya glue the rope together to work??

JJ's got a TON of deals going on right now (so he mentioned...) so, unfortunately, not yet :(

IIRC, I did mention to him that you may have gave the good word bout those parts... :dizzy:

not totally sure if things are coming, or going...lol

You still need a 55 chain adjuster too?

Tim,

yes on the adj, if it's not a prob...

JJ, thanks for clarifying ;) course, you know what you have better than I...

Thanks for the help guys....

Let me know what I can help with on my end....

i know this isn't chainsaw related but i was wondering if anyone had about 4 sticks of 33 degree clipped head framing nails,, paper collet and 3",, i have these 2 framing guns that i have no idea if they will work ok,, i hate to spend 30 dang dollars for a whole box of nails if they are not going to work right,,
i have a little bit of green

Yeah, but stop by a jobsite and they'll give you a strip, least I would, unless you had some of your girlfriends along. Then I'd tell you to move along so the pavement didn't get all busted up and stuff.

I was at menards today and they had 500 packs of most style nails for 9 or 10 bucks. Grip title brand I think.

Anyone have a Homelite 450, 550, 650 they'd like to trade off?

I've got some old muscle and new stuff I'd part with for the right one.

Might even settle for a 360 to tide me over.

Chris

You might as well include the 750 in that list. They aren't any more rare or expensive than the 650 in your list. I've got a 750 in pieces on my bench now, but it's not mine. Owner doesn't want to sell it.........but I get first crack at it if he ever changes his mind!:D

Chris

I just got these 2 Homeys in. I don't know any thing about them, except the 350 feels like great compression but is missing carb. PM me if your interested.
