Looking for a decent Walbro Carb for an 044.

Need a replacement carb. I have an old style muffler in great shape I could trade and a few other parts that I have to look for.

I have an 026 top handle ,mabe a top cover for an 046 but if I do it probably isn't pretty.
I could use an 034 muffler in good condition. Also would like to find a good deal or trade for new 3/8 58 gauge RM chain in bulk or loops for 20" + bars. I would take stihl bars 20" to 28" 3/8 50 gauge in trade for my stuff for trade.
I would consider trading an 019t,an 191t (oiler not putting much out probably needs attention for serious work) I run both enough to say they run and work well except for the minor issues mentioned. I did put a carb kit in the 019 this spring. The choke (019) is a little stubborn to completely close unless you hold your thumb against it while pulling the starter rope. It will cold start fine as long as you do that. Warm starts normal. Both have little use on the bars and chains. Also have an ugly 026 pro w/o the compression release because I put on a new ms260 oem piston and cylinder on it. I did a fair amount of polishing with emory cloth on the exhaust outlet and opened up the muffler outlet for better performance. Has the fully adjustable carb and so far I only ran it about 15 minutes in my firewood pile . Have a good running 028 super,had a minor crack in front of the throttle trigger that I drilled a small hole at the end and into the crack enough to give jb weld space to hold it together. It wasn't bad before and I have cut about 5 hours or more with it since. I believe without abuse it could just as well last as long as the rest of the saw , if it gets abused probably not, but probably will hold close to any handle that age in most any use . I also have an Efco 152 powerhead that never had gas in it. Has an 325 sprocket and efco reccomends 16 or 18" bar. The only .325 bar I have is 20". If I don't sell it I might be interested in an 18" bar. I may consider larger 60cc + stihl saw in trade or Makita, Sachs Dolmar, running or parts saws, depending on model.

Id like to be next in line on that 028 if you and woodchuck dont work something out.

I have 3 or 4 carbs for this model. I am confused as to why the part number was asked for as the Stihl part number is not on the carbs is it? I've never seen them printed on the carb. Perhaps he was looking at NOS?

490 and 520 handles are not the same. Different mounts for the lower AV.

well the P500 and Jred 520sp lower mounts are identical. The only difference in the handles is A: a slight curve on the clutch side of the 520sp that is more for aesthetics than function, both bars have the same endpoint, and B: the Partner has grip to the ends of the bar while the 520sp does not.

I have a Husqvarna 266 piston and cylinder to trade. These are new aftermarket never used. The cylinder has open transfers so to me it is like a regular 268 cylinder but of course will fit other saws in the family. Also I will include a used cylinder from a 266, it is a Mahle and still very useable. Includes the pin, circlips, and ring. Let me know what ya got if interested. May even throw in an aftermarket pull start for said saw that still looks new for the right trade.
