Speakin' of suckers, I seem to have been led to believe there are different carbs for a points 032 and an electronic 032. I'm seeing both a HU-51C and a WA-49B without any specific designation one way or another in my IPL.
I'm gonna take a SWAG that either one will work in either ignition setup? If so, anyone have one to spare? Or maybe a 032 parts saw?
It's a favor for a buddy. Has parts. Has caish.
TIA.
Poge
I have one. It is a HU51A. It was removed from an 032. PM me you address and it is yours. Tom
Anybody happen to have a 10-12" bar for a 020AV super? And maybe the A/V mount that goes from the handle to the case..
I still an looking for a 066 flat top cylinder, I am also looking for a large sprocket cover for the same saw
I am needing cylinder studs for a 041 super
Thanks
My points equipped 031AVQ had the Tillotson HU51. My buddy's 031AVEQ had the same Tillotson. I'm sure either carb would work on either saw. Stihl might have been going through a batch of one carb type at the time one ignition system was being installed, and the other carb type later on. I don't believe the linkages or anything else is different.
Good man Tom!
I am in need of a 041 farmboss crank seal for the clutch side. i done a leak test and found it leaking. got a few parts but got green slips to make up for it. let me know what you got
P.S i'm not going to pay 25 bucks plus order fees for it at my dealer
well it kinda is and i got it going after i put the crank bearing back in it. so now only thing i need now is the seal and it should be good to saw wood again.
i find myself in need of a gas tank for a ms280 lots of parts and a little green paper to trade

Hi all,
Well, I guess it's time for me to be "that guy", asking for a breadcrumb of a part.
I'm working on a neighbor's Stihl 029 Super, and while rebuilding the carb (Walbro HD18B), I found that the adjustment needles have o rings instead of the typical springs to stabilize them.
I was wondering if anyone has two of these o rings kicking around. I've tried eBay, tried several Stihl dealers in the area, and have tried most of the auto parts stores, all to no avail. One of the o rings on this carb is reusable, the other is not, so I'm just gonna replace them both... if I can find them!
I called a local Stihl dealer, who mentioned that their typical strategy with these carbs is just to replace them... since they say that a kit from Stihl is almost the price of a carb! And once you add on the labor cost, it's actually cheaper to just slap a new carb on!
And I have tried finding some springs, but the adjustment needles on the 029 carb are pretty short, and of a small diameter as well, so I've encountered difficulty in doing so. The short length of the needles requires one to press down pretty hard on the needle to compress the spring enough to get the threads started, and I'm worried about damaging the needle end, as well as not being able to seat the needle enough due to the presence of the spring.
Any parts or ideas are more than welcome. I'll try to keep on top of this thread, but it does move quickly, so PM's or email to [email protected] are preferred. Thanks a lot!
