I don't understand, I thought you just traded away your 041 parts saw? Why did you not just want to keep your old 041 parts saw if that is what you want to end up with?

Trying to understand a dh is a time and a half job, and all he has to pay you is whats left of his salary at Randy's shop after he pays his sponsorship fee to have the privilege of confusing you and me. I don't think I could buy donuts with that, much less bacon.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that the 041 parts saw that you don't have anymore on the bench in that pic of the Echo that was in your earlier post?

I hate to tell you guys the obvious, but really, it's better if you just don't even go there....

yeap thats the one and to beat it all it's running after resetting the metor lever in the carb so i sold the thing for nothing. So I'm on the look out for a other 041. i got a good used engine lined up to go in to it.

Charles, so far how much money have you spent on the two (or is it one :msp_confused:?) 041s?

I was trying to figure out just how you managed to get a job with Randy, if indeed it was true . Thankfully your question answered my question.

well with the last 041 farmboss i spent a total of 200.00 bucks trying to restore my dreams. but i just got too mad at it and sold it like something stupid. so i'm on the look out for a other one.

Maybe my perception is way off, but I would think that TN is a great state in which to find chainsaws worth rebuilding at garage sales, flea markets, etc.

That's pretty good of Randy to be a equal opportunity employer.:cool2:

I've recently ended up with two really low hour Poulan Pro 330's. I'd be willing to trade the one that is set up with a .325 rim for a nice running poulan 3700,4200 or something of that nature. My buddy purchased this saw new and has not used it much at all. It looks and runs great. If interested PM me.

If the deal that didn't work out is the one we spoke of on the phone right after you posted up the add, I am still waiting for that pm you said you would send with your e-mail address. I cannot send pics to an address I don't have.

well they can keep thye basket case 041 because i don't think i can go through that again.

So i'll go make some bids and see what i can get Thanks Randy
