The saw still runs But it runs like crap it don't have the power like it should. What do you want for it i don't have much to trade exsept old modly green cabbage

Just about any SH**TY porting will run if it has compression...

LOL thats what i found out on this saw I had to turn the carb screws almost all the way out to get it to run though.

Looking for 290 Piston/rings. (Checking to see if anyone one has anything, then ill go to the fleabay)

Try Northwood saws if nobody has a good one laying around. $35 plus shipping for a new aftermarket is pretty cheap.

I have these to trade if anyone is interested in them.


Homelite XL901. Runs strong and cuts good. The bar is a 18" on it. Needs air filter and the on/off switch works but the cover is broken.

Skil 947 Type 2. Runs on a prime. The on/off switch is missing on the handle but someone placed one on the side of the saw.

Homelite 150 also runs on a prime. Has Homelite bar but chain will need some assistance. Needs air fliter and cover.

PM me if your interested. Always looking for Stihl parts.

I can certainly appreciate your efforts in helping me out with my dilemma dh, but in one of the photos you posted judging by the rusty looking crud on the inside of your carb, I'm not interested in it, unless you want to give it away.

Typical dh. I had a good running engine but, I took it apart for no reason and then destroyed the parts. WTF? :bang:

It still runs i just don't have no use for a gocart since i got a pickup truck. But i still ride my Atvs that i use for hunting.
