Regarding the P/C, does anyone know if a Jonsered 670 top end would do the job?

For the carb, would one from a 670 do the trick?

I dont believe it would. The 670 cylinder is more in line with the 266/268 husky.

Carb is different too. The Jonny carb would be a Tilly HS 230.....and i could sure use it if Andrew can't. :msp_smile:

Regarding the carb, it's a 250a. There were several different carbs put in that series of Johnny. PM me if you think it's the one you're looking for.

FYI, I have a ton (well, probably more along the lines of 70 lbs) of Jonsered 670 stuff. Also Husqvarna 141. And I just picked up a Stihl 08 that runs.

I like 70cc McCulloch saws and parts, and I'm considering sitting at the adult's table and getting an 80cc Mac (800, sp81, 850, etc; I'm not looking for any more boat anchors, though I would like a Super 250).

Durand is correct, the 670 is a totally different animal.

The carb needs to come off a cut-off saw since it is limited.

I have a set of rings here, got em off the bay as 47MM, they are actually 52mm, 1.5mm thick. Ideally looking for a 47 x 1.5 set (for a 264 Olympik), or make me an offer.

330 brake band NLA. I'm sure one of these poulan guys know for sure. Heck I'll dig too. Also look at the brake band in the 3450, 3750, 380, etc.

I cant be sure as I dont have a 8500 and the pins are not listed seperatly in the IPLs but I "think" they should be the same as a 4200/5200 pin which I might have one and you do to now. The 8500 just used a different compression height on there piston.

Check with Fatguy, I think he still has one apart to check for sure.
