No problem Ed.
I dont think it would matter much, especially being BELOW the exhaust port.

What does everyone think about a Forrester brand Piston for an 026? How is the quality?

They might be fine, but I wouldn't bet the few dollars saved vs. a Meteor.

The flaking shouldn't be a problem. I would use a green pad or 400 grit sandpaper to smooth the edges where the plating is missing.

441 Parts.....

Hey guys I got some 441 parts I am looking to get rid of. In the 441 parts there is a good piston and cylinder and carb and a whole bunch of odds and ends. The picture below tells all. What do you have? Or make offer. THANKS!

Yo fool I sent you a text message with pictures! I gatherd, parts for ya! Lol

Fool?! dems fightin words...:poke:

I guess you may have, but I had SO much going on, they may have been passed by :Dizzy:

Need some husky 45 stuff...
Chain tensioner. Need all the little bits.
M4x18 socket head
And two M6 bar nuts.

Sorry to ask for such little stuff. There are zero dealers near me.

Mark,

4x18mm bolt? what's that for??got a part # so I can look in the IPL?

that bar adjuster in the cover?

that would be 8x1.25 bar nuts, like ALL the others, correct??

you still need a bar for the 480? IF so, we should work something out on a bar for you, and I'll take care of you on the other parts

10-4... So I can use a 034 or a 036 but will need to make spacers for a 034 to work? Sounds good to me!

Anyone working on Redmax and know what the top pump goes to? The pump on the bottom is my 3800 pump that I need to replace. Bought the wrong pump so wondering if anyone could use this one?

Does anyone have the pump and worm gear I need??? PN: 521586101 i've been told... Googled that part number and come up with a husky and redmax oil pump... Are they the same pump???

It (the top one) looks just like the pump I put in my FIL's Redmax G455avs.

Anybody got any Echo CS310 stuff? I picked one up that was ran with the brake on.... things got a little toasty. :msp_ohmy:
I know for sure I need an oil pump for starters.
Just checking what's out there..... I know you guys don't like to part with these high performance muscle saw parts. :)
Got plenty to trade.

Speaking of Echo saws......I have an Echo 452VL to trade......

Sorry Jacob. Storms knocked out my internet last Friday... just got it back.
I got a nice 026 jug you can have. It's very clean, but it has a small spot below the exhaust that's missing the chrome.
If I needed it, I'd run it. What do the rest of you think about this running it?
If you want it, let me know... I'll put it in the mail in the morning.

maybe it's just me but you could probably blend that spot out with a port job...??? :msp_rolleyes:

Raising the floor of the exhaust is almost always a no-no. It can allow the piston skirt to travel above the bottom of the port during the compression part of the cycle and the incoming fuel/air charge sneaks out of the exhaust without having a chance to meet old sparky--aka free-port.

It just sounded like a good idea... I'm not a professional port master like some... :msp_biggrin:

I'm slowly learning though! My brain is more like a battery on a trickel charger than a speed charger...

I have two 452 parts saws that I could probably get you those parts off of...

It would be interesting to see if you could make that into a good runner.

I've determined that the 4 P-50 buffers are all I need for my Pioneer project, so those and the Echo parts would make a nice package. :msp_biggrin:

You need my address?
