I was bumping my own post since it has been a while. I have those parts to offer.
I would like a muffler and muffler bracket for a 394 if you have one of those.
A would also like a set of dawgs for a 394 as well.

I have a 272 donor for the 266 stuff. There is a 395 parts saw at my dealers barn I'll look.

I have a newer 660 flywheel that i would like to trade for an older 066 flywheel, the one with the smaller diameter.

Just for reference, the smallest part of the taper on my crank is 0.419 inch.
The flywheel I have at the smallest diamter of the hole is 0.460 inch.

TS-08 starter

Anyone have starter pawls and friction discs for a stihl 08 w/morse-fairbanks starter? I have installed the plastic ring on the flywheel put it together and it only catches every third pull or so. Am I on the right track? JJ where ya at?

Sometimes those new plastic rings need time to wear a few marks into them so the friction shoes catch better. It might also be that your extension spring(s) are wore out?

Don't know about any spring. Does anyone know if the parts are still available from Stihl? I have the part #'s if anyone needs them I'll just have to go to the shed to retrieve them.

Doesn't the Ts350 cut off saw take the same setup as the 08's? For some reason I was thinking it was.

Tired of messing with it..
new carb kit.
did governor mod.
new fuel lines.
cleaned and set points.
gapped magneto (was rubbing).
good compression.
good air filter.
comes with top cover.
been messing with it to long and it still act like it has a fuel problem.
will start,will run..idle will fluctuate,,will die at hi rpm.
good project for poulan guys.

looking for a tach.
vac/press tester.

Looks to me like mostly 011 parts.. one 028? muffler.
on the engine i turned it over with a battery drill and got 135 lbs on my Actron guage..
somebody cut the end of the plug wire off but is has GOOD spark !
pulled muffler and looks VERY good to excellent inside from what i can see..this could be a runner.
been sitting in shed for years.used to belong to a tree service..when one saw would need a part pull it off another and put it in shed as a parts saw is what they did.
looking for dolmar 111 parts,tack,press/vac guage,anything.
