the 017 is borrowing it

I saw that video a week or so ago that cannon is flopping all over the place

Yeah I had it in my inbox and hadn't looked at it as I'd only been checking my emails at work which blocks a lot of sites.
Bit of a gimmick though and pretty well useless for anything but laughs.

No spark arrestor screen you can see the spot weld for the gusset that sits inside that would normally support the screen.

The gusset has a series of approx 5mm holes in it.

you can see a bit of the gusset inside the gusset is sealed to make the gas flow through the series of 5mm holes

The amount of usable bar surprised me
You hear husky owners talk about how a 25 inch stihl bar is as long as a 24 on a husky.
Seems now that it will be different from one model to the next

The 261 has longer dogs but it still has a higher amount of the bar out front

I agree David. DL counts are starting to make more sense that actual bar lengths. Stihl seem to like quoting longer bar lengths than the industry standard. Probably so consumers think they have a bigger willy cause their Stihl has a longer bar than the equivalent Husky :D

Oh and you still disappoint me David. I may need to be medicated due to your complete lack of compassion on this issue...

I mean the 241C's are a relatively quiet saw David. Just crank it up in your loungeroom and start chopping furniture for crying out loud. Oh and get a video when you do and upload it ASAP.

I'm sure Sawtroll would agree with you on this, just ask him... :msp_biggrin:
