good to hear you fellas are ok ,lots of rain about, seen some bad #### on the news,
on a different note ,my red cattle cross got struck while taken on a 5 foot black snake, had to give her the antiveneen, let me tell you its not cheap, the vets bill is gonna cost around the $900 mark ......................yeah yeah i know ,but shes one of the family

Hope the dog pulls through it ok.......we would do the same,as you say there another family member!
just hopes she learned a lesson :msp_unsure:

Ok gents check this out,you US saw users and builders take note this is a vid of Oak (US hard wood ) and one of the Ozzy hard woods Yellow box.We have heard it all before sharpen ya chain and so on,see how the Oak has ribbon type saw dust and the Yellow box is more like dust.
Chain is a Carlton semi chisel skip and a 7 pin sprocket.
Saw is a ported 441CMTronic and 28'' ES Light bar.
This is why us Ozzys are not interested in high revving built saws around here torque is king.

shes doing ok, but somehow i think she will learn, she got struck last year about this time ,red cattle x fox terrier, non stop hunter

splitpost, hope the pup learns that a snake isn't the best thing to attack...

Speaking of vet bills, my black lab got a weird lump on her knee, brought her to the vet and found out it was possibly a cancer spot. About 2 grand later, she comes home with a bandage on her leg. Had to keep her doped up on pills so she wouldn't run around and tear the stitches. That was about two years ago, she still is the energetic little lab like she was before. 9 years old and still running around like a puppy, hasn't slowed down much, lol.

God bless dogs. Nothing like a good pup.

Mmmm
Interesting match up
Ported 441C 70cc
Ported 390 88cc
Same wood
Same length bars
Same saw builder

You're gonna think I'm here to stir trouble Andrew but I'm not :) To me both saws sounded like they were pulling similar revs yet the 441 seemed to be cutting better - you can see by the chips flying out. Same wood and same bars yet I suspect different chains or knots in the wood. I'd like to hear Brad's view on which saw he thinks is faster. I think you're trying to say that the ported 441CM is as fast (or faster) than a similarly ported 390XP. Although I love the MTronic setup 18cc is a big gap for it to fill and I don't think it would in an outright drag race. 10cc I think it would. It's an awesome system...

How do you know your 441CM isn't high revving Andrew? I thought your tacho couldn't read it :)

The point i was trying to make was the Auto tune system has just about clossed the gap of the bigger cc old school saws.

Ya i dont know what rpms my 441 pulls but it hits the rev limiter easy enough, with a pop, crackle, pop nice noises.

Seeing how this is a dribble thread.
There is no subsatute for cubic inchs and a blower, its a Ford as well.

I counter your awesome big block grunt with some Japanese turboed weaponry. The last corner part is just screaming tyre torture...

Oh and I fully agree with the MTronics etc bridging big gaps :D

DAMMIT! Youtube rejected my upload. Hang on gents...

Phew, somebody else had it...

I like the V8 Scion one Darren :D Bloody nice sounding bus that. I wish Toyota ran engines like that out here! I'm not the world's biggest drift fan but do like the grunt and sound of any powerful car getting worked hard :)
At least in that video he wasn't laying down blackies over previously existing blackies unlike Uncle Ken.
The Ken Block videos are cool too (especially his latest one) but every single corner already has 400 burnouts on it where he's stuffed up and they've reshot the scene again - over and over and over. Some of the black marks are straight into barriers etc. He must do a lot of damage doing those videos...

hey matt found a jakmax dealer here sh1t he's dear but $38 for 4lt of bar oil $115 tsumura 20" 3/8 (carlton premium)

My little bro is into drift and has just built up a new drift car, it's a Toyota Cressida with a 1jz 2.5L twin turbo import engine, in Japan this is a called Toyota Chaser, he ran it for a few months then changed to a single Garret turbo this thing goes hard, I've only drove it once when we were making boost control adj and I lost control in 2nd gear(it was boosting at 18pounds). This thing is full on!
Chews up 7 sets of back tyres per meet.
Love those ken block vids and yeah they are well edited.

7 sets!?!

How many laps per set does he get out of them? What brand tires are run on it?
