7 sets!?!

How many laps per set does he get out of them? What brand tires are run on it?

Not sure of how many laps as every track is different, a track or race day is usually an 8hr day, the front tyres arnt the problem it's the rears that are in hell. Tyres used are mostly off Vic police cars, used but still good, there aren't many drifters around that can afford new tyres, not a cheap sport with many crashes, blown clutches and gearbox problems, these cars under stress and engines are often on the rev limiter!

Someone got a bargain, sellers wipe-out 95% of potential buyers if their not willing to post.
Al ,I posted your 4200 last Monday, it should arrive soon.

bugger i knew i should have looked at that post of yours before lake tyers is only 35 clicks up the road from me

sorry it was al's post

That was really nice looking 690 and I loved the air stack. I was actually talking to my wife about doing a long weekend down to Lakes Entrance when my son came home telling us he was being sent to the floods at Nathalia for the week. As we have to look after his dogs the trip was canned. I could not get in contact with the seller so accepted the reality that I would miss thae saw. Would have gone nicely with the Dolly 9010.
Wayne, thanks! What can I send you?

Looks like a Chicom special to me. And that price is way high. Keep looking, lots of 070/090's out there at much more resonable prices.

yes Al i would not be buying it, i have a very good 090AV so a 070 would be of no use to me, I emailed the bloke again and
said he should put in the details that its could be a copy, he emailed back and said he would, I know one guy in my Town that
got one of the Chinese copys and it #### its self in 3 weeks:msp_mad: but he did not know one Stihl from another:dizzy:

Yeah the Chinese Stihl copies are pretty bad. I had an 070 copy that Wayne now owns (gmax). I think he fitted an 090 top end to it. The finish was, um, nasty :) There are a lot of Stihl copies on eBay and a number of guys are pawning them off as original knowing full well they are not.

Matt, I put the 070 top end back on, the 090 was too much load for the starter (it was self destructing), after repairing the starter, oil pump, carby, and clutch it's
sort of reliable now :hmm3grin2orange:

Crikey Wayne, I feel lucky with my purchase of the Chinese 365BB from Matt. The only thing I've had trouble with was a clogged fuel vent, which I cleaned and will be purchasing a vented fuel cap as a backup. I didn't think I would be using the thing as much as I have, but if the wood is available, I'm not going to pass it up. I think this winter is going to be chilly.

Terry, I had a play with Matt's Chinese 365BB, it goes really hard and the build quality looks pretty good.. 100% better than the Chinese 070.

Goes even better now that I ported it. If I take a break from cutting wood, I'll see if one of those C3M carbs he gave me can be reworked to extend the powerband a bit more. Its been raining so much that I haven't wanted to let a dry day go by without doing some cutting.
