No need to apologise about the lack of diff oil Neil. After all you're just a beginner on the saws and wouldn't be aware of just how good diff oil is yet. Maybe when you get a bit more experience under your belt?

Oh and with the diff oil Matt, a few drops of emu oil in the mix will stop the plug fouling

The great thing about using diff oil is when you do put it in your mix for the first time, apparently it is that sticky that you never have to put it in your mix again and just run straight ethanol after that. Do you use another additive Mat say from Wynn's to get better mileage and quieter running?

The only other additive I use is Chocolate Sprinkles. I used to use Hundreds & Thousands but the multicoloured exhaust smoke sent me into convulsions.

I suppose you guys are experienced enough now to cope with knowing and not abusing such knowledge, to tell you that marshmellows dissolved in the premix radically increase performance, like, lots. Heaps even. Just don't get them mixed up - pink are for huskies, white for stihls - or you'll force a kerf in the time space continuum from which there is no return.

The easy answer there is why would anyone bother, our resident Chinese copy muncher has been put out to pasture and no one else gives a dam.

Dallas actually calls into the mill when he goes past up or down the coast, he drives a auto ranger with the big engine towing a heavy looking machine for councils and the like. He is a nice bloke in person, and I can assure everyone he is big enough to use his 090. Dallas has been working up QLD, long way from Vic.
Rick, he is a mystery these days, I think he is just up the coast a bit from me but may have moved on.
Another fine bloke in person as well.

aussie1 has been on the patrol forum from here.. sorta got out of the forestry industry and sorta lost interest in this forum. met once up at talbotville. very nice bloke indeed.
