makita out of tool HQ in morrabin on ebay or direct ToolHQ - DeWalt and Makita tools, power tools, hand tools and accessories.
I bought a couple of 3.0 amph lxt batteries about a year ago for $99 ea best I could do locally was $240. I have bought other items
Makita BTD141Z 18V LXT Impact Driver Drill Li-Ion Lithium BTD141 BARE NEW
These are the best thing I have ever bought. the impact action helps stop the Philips bits from jumping and if you have a hex bit in a batten screw the have enough torque that if you keep pulling the trigger you can shear the screw in half or drive all the way through the timber until the thread has disengaged from the wood on the way out.
they have genuine chargers from $130 torches $35, circular saws $135 and drills with hammer action hammer from $85
Hey guys I noticed in the latest "Supercheap Auto" Catalogue they have Gulf Western Chainsaw Bar Oil - 5 Litre for $17.50
Gulf Western Supertak Chain Saw Bar Oil - 5 Litre - Supercheap Auto Australia
just priced some bar oil in the 205 and our man can do me a drum for $390.00 inc gst. This guy recycles hyd oil from the mines and adds the addatives and sells it by the 44. He also sells the new oils as well in 205 and 1000.
can arrange something if anyone is interested, and this guy is at tamworth.
He supplies the local tyre service here too.
[edit] It's probably pretty good stuff as it stinks
Neil, I bought a 20 litre drum from the Caltex depot at Tamworth, I only paid $63/20 litres last year.
yea thats about what our caltex depot charges as well. I like to have oil onhand as running out isn't not the best plan. I use bar oil on my friction drives on my mahoe mills, bar oil clings to the ropes better and longer, oh and a little in a work saw now and then.
Is the mahoe mill similar to a lucas mill and does it have advantages?
The simple fact is, pound for pound, inch for inch, that Queensland team on Wednesday night was about three-fifths of a smidgin better than our blokes. In the game of inches, they were just a 10th of an inch more precise than NSW, and - I think this is the key - wanted it just a 10th of an inch more. Why? Because they're Queenslanders, that's why. And whereas you and I took with our mother's milk the fact that we are Australians, they took with their mother's milk the fact that they are QUEENSLANDERS. I don't get that. You don't get that. But they get that, and in such a tribal game as league, the fact that they identify with their tribe far more than our blokes identify with the geographical entity that is NSW actually counts, most particularly in the dying stages of the game, when you have to find that tiny bit extra. Think on it a moment. With 10 minutes to go and the game on the line, the Queenslanders were yelling at each other: ''ARTIE! ARTIE! ARTIE!'' to remind each other of Artie Beetson and what he gave to the game. Just who would our blokes have had to equal him? We have had many great figures, extraordinary players, but not an iconic, tribal figure the equal of Beetson. Why? Because we're simply not a tribe. We're Australians who live south of the Tweed, north of the Murray, and east of Uluru, but that's it. What is the answer? I really don't think there is one. But whingeing about the ref isn't one of them. I would suggest getting a sunlamp behind the heads of our blokes before the next game, to give them good red necks and sending them out with a chip on both shoulders might help equalise things and be a good start. But ultimately, when we can't quite match them for tribalism or talent (they really do have an extraordinary array of once-in-a-generation players in the one team at the one time)
Hello Everybody,
Thought I would jump in and say hello.
Just to stir the pot, the try should not have been awarded
Went to the Stihl shop today to have a look at the MS241C and the MS441C. I picked up the 241, it felt light, and it would sort of do what I want. Then I picked up the MS441C and fell in love. Then I put it back, chatted with the bloke, and then picked it up and played with it some more. Even the wife approved.
Now to watch Rango :cool2:
Graham
