The Australia day weekend bash ?
No worries. Thanks for that.Vince, I will have a look sometime this week, I know I got one somewhere that'll suit ya, I just gotta find a bit of time. I just spent tonight pulling off the rocker cover on the patrol, I farked up yesterday and exceeded the recommended torque settings when installing the new gasket yesterday, they only need 1-2nm of torque, oops, first click of the elbow far exceeded it lol
As for the motor in Melbourne, I just found out a chopping mate is heading to Melbourne from Adelaide show, trying to get onto him to see if he has a spare moment to pick it up for me, hope the silly bugger can do it for me
Seen some pretty big China trimmers on eBay, about that sizeHusqvarna used to make one just for that purpose think they were around the 80/90cc range used for thinning plantations 6" pine saplings at walking pace pretty much
I heard it closed down a few years ago. Not true ?Genuine 100 octane Super!

Give me a bell. I should have something there that will do the trickAnybody tried a brushcutter on sapling trees?
I've got acres of acacia longifolia to remove that has sprung up after fuel reduction burns, spraying them hasn't proven to be very effective. I've tried lontrel, trounce and grazon in the past - and I have even more to do now.
I know it's been done, I've got no idea of speed, blade choice or how much brushcutter I'll actually need - but I've got a feeling the 35cc Honda might be marginal! I'd like to try though before I shell out a for something new.
Benne - want to talk to me about a stihl 250 vs their forestry clearing range?
I'll be out your way next week some time, so if I can make some sense of this I can pick one up.
I missed a 460 last week for $1k - I kinda wanted it, but I had no work for one. Lol. Then again, is second hand a bright idea with these things? I really haven't worried for ages as the Hondas have done everything I've needed for years and I have no idea how you wear one out.
That's all cool Neil and I respect that. But isn't that like comparing the V8 super car engine builder to a good bloke down the road that builds them for the weekend club car. Of course one bloke wants to be secret squirrel and win races. That's what keeps them ahead of the pack. Where the other caters for the masses.
It's true what you say but it's unrealistic to put them in the same bed. IMHO. [emoji4]
I wouldn't let that bother you Snowey, 90's are just that, a bloody 090. They are the bee's nees to collectors and fun for a little one off racing perhaps handy for an odd farmer but plenty of nice big saws which are a lot nicer to use and will get the job done.Feel slightly less of a man, much like not owning an 090.
I see we have a new pig at the trough!.......Though I'm sure Mr Abbott won't starve.
Not soon enough
Bishop will likely also be the next female PM of this country......
