i been pondering wondering confused with shooting long ranges up or down hills valleys slopes,, what bullet drop rise or adjustment if any is required hmm a trajectory graph vs rise fall would be good,,,,, do you need to tweak poi or just keep it same

havin brain fail here as never shoot nuthin but flat range targets im wondering


,,,,,i mean if the yellow line i edited in is the terrain then poi is ?? eg blue line 1000 yard lands on hill 850 away so my elevation = drop 60 inches...... i'm thinking hard but its hurtin ma head some help pls,,,eg do yo need to adjust range poi when shooting goats 200 y high up on hill 850 y away or just shoot for 850 drop

it in the work shop um dont do this the fuel filters below the fuse box and other roof top engine parts that need to unbolt 1st the fuel tanks looks like somthin from Jacques Cousteao submarine pipes and bits all over 3 hours minimum to remove drain refit,,,, i got a mighty boy toyo workmate till fixed
 
Ah well!, I'm all packed ready to head south tomorrow.
Taking the little fella to Timbertown tomorrow, followed by a few races Saturday with my coastal cousins.
Oh and the cook will be tagging along as well;)

derwoodii i just got home i just allow 1/4moa per 5* for up and down from 600 too as far as i'm game to shoot until i get a bal calk


ta deye223,, i dont -- cant shoot over 600 my 223 runs outta puff at 500 -600y but hadd wondered this as was on a steep long hill last weekend web research says you shoot a tad low for hill or valley i'm still not fully clear but its sinking in tho
 
im after this air filter if any one can help me out please , where to buy or get or some one may have for me
ive got the plate that bolts to the carby but need the filter and the outside cap as well

Can you scavange the frame from the existing filter and buy yourself some filter foam and cut it to shape to fit where the old air element goes?

Looks like you jusy need it to be round and hollow. It may need an insert down the middle to help it hold its shape and not get sucked into the carby

Thanks Chippy, ive only got the plate that bolts to the carby ,nothing else
And not sure what to put on there as i dont want it choking it and causing any drama,s
Dont know much about filters
