The apron we use is kind of like that but that one has made in China all over it, but i get its only that kind you would like not that one...We get our apron's off one of the last Saw Doctors in QLD and they are made by hand...We also mod the neck strap so when you pick up like 80kg and rest it on the apron it does not pull on your neck(sleeper cutter's) we also cut alot of junk for QLD and NSW not that NSW has any money haha...Anyway i will load up a few pics later on...we get about 3 year's out of them and that's hard labour....And yes they feel at home from the min you put one on if your used to Wearing one that is....

Great to see a genuine timber man here, especialy a sleeper cutter.
We have worn our new aprons 1 full week now and they are very good, they are soft and don't rub like most of the other ones i get.
I have put the date on these and i am interested to see how long they last before replacement, i usualy only get 6 to 12 months out of a sawyers apron, as the gut area wears out along with the belt.
After 1 week i think i can recomend my new supplier as my old man must be putting 100% mark up on his aprons and they are not nearly as good.

No comment Matt on the size of my tummy please, its paid for out of the NSW timber industry.
Thanks Matt in advance:msp_sneaky:

Peavey/cant hooks - where can I get a good one?

I have been using my home brew log lifter/roller and its been really handy but a bit heavy for the smaller stuff. So I would like to get a real cant hook if possible.

Rudi

Fiskars makes a great cant hook, should be able to get them through either a husky or stihl shop. I have one and use it allot to roll poles around, it comes in two different lengths, I have a short one, would like to get the longer one.

If ya in the Crows Nest area on the 20th of this month I'll have it with me behind the pub. There is a race there, come on out.

Will

Nice little collection mate, how did those bigger ones go on your power heads.
i still have some old 8 tooth 404 genuine rims here, i liked them when log falling with the 084's and oregon 27A skip.

they go good :D,
i havent used anything bigger than a 7 in .404,
those 2 .404 sprockets belong to rogue60 ,i just snapped a few shots before i posted them.

Mann, I have always wanted a nice Pete, they are so hard to find over here. Sounds like a bargain to me, you should get it!

I had another look and the steering wheel seems to be on the wrong side...
