I'll list my Chinga gear for everybody to see :D (feel free to make an offer on any chainsaw gear!)

A sh*tload of 365/371/372 spares including tanks, clutch covers, starter covers, mufflers x 40, over 2000 rim sprockets of all shapes and assortments, a swag of P&C kits, 40 tonne splitter, 2.4kva generator, chains (a few different pre made loops in all sorts of configurations), some bars (including name brand Chinga made ones!), ZAMA Chinga carbies on my Dolmars, Chinga made carbs on all of my genuine Stihls, probably a few Chinga bits on my genuine Huskies, light globes are probably Chinga too, a few Chinga tools, a couple of Chinga compressors, a couple of Chinga pushbikes. I think the Master padlock on the door is also Chinga. Oh and there is some 6000kg rope. Probably some ratchet straps and a trolley jack. 30 tonne barrel jack. Hmmm, what else...

Typical Aussie shed really.

we got some rain at least, dams are about 70%, creeks are flowing & drinkable still.... that could change quick with summer just around the corner. Looking very green and hoping the rain keeps coming, a few months ago we where looking at a really bad fire season and they predicted Zero rain in the forecast, luckily they got that wrong. we got some rain in the last few months. but a few hot extreme summer days, back out with the RFS PPE

furniture making industry - Concept - Chinese-Australian Historical Images in Australia

In Melbourne, Chinese furniture makers were concentrated in Lonsdale, Little Lonsdale, Exhibition streets and some of the lanes at the eastern end of Little Bourke Street. They were ideally located near the major furniture retailers in Melbourne. At its peak in 1912, the number of Chinese working in Victorian furniture making trade was 818 compared with 2024 Europeans, however during the 1890s depression the number of Chinese furniture makers outnumbered European ones. The Chinese were able to reduce the cost of production of their furniture by specialising in particular items and working efficiently.

The Victorian Act stipulated that all Chinese (and 'part-Chinese') made furniture had to be stamped accordingly. Strict rules on wages, work hours and building regulations were also imposed on furniture factories. Although four European furniture workers was defined as a factory, if you were Chinese only one worker was considered a factory. This meant Chinese factories, particularly small ones were regulated and subject to close scrutiny by inspectors and other government officials in a way their European counterparts were not. The effectiveness of stamping furniture as Chinese made as a method of pushing Chinese workers out of the industry is disputable. People continued to buy Chinese made furniture as it was cheap and well made. At the time some even suggested that the stamps made it easier for customers to buy this furniture as they included the address of the factory and identified it as Chinese!

You lads want some rain? Got plenty here, headed for another record year.
Had a front blow through this morning, left nearly two inches behind.
The storms are queued up 3 or 4 deep, should see another 6-8 inches by Monday.
