Yep thats the one! It is a Lightning S 137cc In the listing photos count the fins on the cylinder above the carby,only 2 ,thats what gave it away. towards the end of production many of the S model left the factory without serial plates............Oh and i'l take all the lightning super's ya can find me for under $600 anytime!!

Well men, i just saw this vid in another thread, to think someone bought this saw with real money.If those 070 copies go anything like this powerful brute, they are in a class of their own.

I think the lightning part of that 070 must have shorted out
Even if he was cutting Yellow Box that looks slow
Sorry but it does. If that is an average original 070 then none of the 70-80cc saws I've ever owned should be scared
Obviously the Chinese one is crappier though, as we all know.

Got this as an email today. Cracker...
A Russian and an Irish wrestler were set to square off for the Olympic gold medal. Before the final match, the Irish wrestler's trainer came to him and said, 'Now, don't forget all the research we've done on this Russian. He's never lost a match because of this 'pretzel' hold he has. Whatever you do, do not let him get you in that hold! If he does, you're finished.'
The Irishman nodded in acknowledgment.
As the match started, the Irishman and the Russian circled each other several times, looking for an opening. All of a sudden, the Russian lunged forward, grabbing the Irishman and wrapping him up in the dreaded pretzel hold. A sigh of disappointment arose from the crowd and the trainer buried his face in his hands, for he knew all was lost. He couldn't watch the inevitable happen.
Suddenly, there was a long, high-pitched scream, then a cheer from the crowd and the trainer raised his eyes just in time to watch the Russian go flying up in the air. His back hit the mat with a thud and the Irishman collapsed on top of him, making the pin and winning the match.
The trainer was astounded. When he finally got his wrestler alone, he asked, 'How did you ever get out of that hold? No one has ever done it before!'
The wrestler answered, 'Well, I was ready to give up when he got me in that hold but at the last moment, I opened my eyes and saw this pair of testicles right in front of my face. I had nothing to lose so with my last ounce of strength, I stretched out my neck and bit those babies just as hard as I could.'
The trainer exclaimed, 'That's what finished him off?'
'Not really but you'd be amazed how strong you can get when you bite your own nuts!'

oh i'm glad i own real 90's and not china thingies,,,,, my back would not take waiting that long to cut something off. As for the stihl 70, its still as i remember, slow.
If anyone enjoys that sort of sawing, they have not ever used modern saws,,,end of story.

yeah that chinga 070's a POS, damn happy myself to have scored a real 090av ,she sits loud & proud with the 395 & 3120, full farm spec line up! defently wont be changing that line up.. Modern Muscle and brute force, win win!

Why run it against an 80cc saw Wayne? Why not run it against your little 010 or something around 30cc to make it a fair fight?
