Got this via email today from Wayne (gmax). Ouchy!!!

Nut spun onto finger by impact wrench

“Never stick your finger in the impact gun socket to get a 5/8” nut out and hit the trigger
with the air hose hooked up.”

The person stuck a finger in the nut while the nut was inside an impact socket in an attempt to retrieve the nut.

The person then pulled the trigger on the impact wrench and the nut spun onto
the finger.

The result was surely unexpected and painful.

Guess this blokes screwed or should we call him sexy fingers, "things he touches he screws"

On another note guys I had a crack at square filing the other day after getting some tips from Neil (he gave me the impression he may actually know a thing or two about square filing).
Anyway I thought I'd practice on an 84DL loop of Chinese full chisel. After completely rooting a few cutters I shortened it to 72DL. I missed a few angles on some corners but all in all was relatively happy with the final product.
Hooked her up to the ported 390XP and proceeded to hook into a pretty hard wattle log I have laying around. It cut like a hot knife through butter and I was impressed (not converted, just impressed).

Therefore I now obviously know everything there is to know about square filing so am taking requests for any race chain orders that people may have. For a mere $400 you too can have an awesome, Chinese, square filed full chisel chain from my expert hands.

Don't all PM me at once as I have this funny feeling I'll be absolutely swamped and won't be able to keep up with demand...

Hey its half a chainsaw Matt... kind of

Good ol' 08S by the looks of it

I don't know how that bastard does it but some of the bloody chainsaw models he gets his mitts on are absolutely unbelievable.
I think he steals them...

Managing a Stihl shop and doing a good job of it to boot doesn't count...

OK guys. I think something is wrong with my private messaging as no orders have come through for my Chinese race chains yet.
Just hang in there, I'm sure it will be back on line soon. If desperate please email me instead. I'm sure I'll be snowed under with my new career choice but will try to keep up with demand.
Also now that we have ascertained I can square file and therefore can build awesome race chains I thought I'd set up a new picture for my sig.
Any thoughts?

I won't give any more references to Neil's input as he'll try to take all the credit with how good I have become at chain building. What took him decades to accomplish in the racing ring took me around 30 minutes and some swearing.
I was going to dog bone my tiestraps to avoid looking lazy but couldn't be stuffed. They'll win races as they are.
