OK guys. I think something is wrong with my private messaging as no orders have come through for my Chinese race chains yet.
Just hang in there, I'm sure it will be back on line soon. If desperate please email me instead. I'm sure I'll be snowed under with my new career choice but will try to keep up with demand.
Also now that we have ascertained I can square file and therefore can build awesome race chains I thought I'd set up a new picture for my sig.
Any thoughts?

I won't give any more references to Neil's input as he'll try to take all the credit with how good I have become at chain building. What took him decades to accomplish in the racing ring took me around 30 minutes and some swearing.
I was going to dog bone my tiestraps to avoid looking lazy but couldn't be stuffed. They'll win races as they are.

mad as a sh#t beetle, what more can be said.

love the sic pic.

Im sure you would be pretty mad Neil. I mean after all you told me a few square filing tips over the phone and I produced a masterpiece :)
If you'd like any race chain tips please PM me. I certainly won't be selling you any of my new race chains though in case you steal my ideas.

perhaps you should make a test chain up for gmax's chiney 70, get him to redo those vids. the results may be just dandy for the lovers of chiney 70's

As confident as I am with my newfound race chain profession I am no idiot Neil. There is no way any chain other than 3/4" harvester could cope with the grunt of Wayne's knock off 070.

On another note Neil Ive made a race chain ad up for your sig as well. Feel free to use it. I think you'll be busy too...

Bloody hell Darren. You obviously have no idea. Rakers are simply there so that when the chain is in your toolbox it doesn't get a blunt cutting edge - the raker protects it.
Because we've done business before and you pay on time I'll do you a Chinese race chain for $350. Introductory offer. Not to be repeated.

I have only used a square ground once,a local Stihl dealer had some skip full chisel in 3/8 .063 so i got a 36'' loop made up.But when i got home i found it was ripping chain with the 10 deg cutter angle anywhay one day i was milling some pine so i gave it a go.Interesting it was a little grabby but it did cut very well in this very soft pine.

6 months interest free terms available.

Anyway guys. I'm off to bed. My head hurts thinking of what I'll do with all the money from these race chains...

well when you have sold 200 of them and that should only take a couple of days you could afford
to give me one for a crissy present :feel_good:

I think you could be onto something Matt, if they are as fast as you say, you could very well put the saw builders out of business...

But first we need some videos... :monkey:
