I heard a little rumer that Gmax received a pristine 166 sachs dolmar, I also hear its only missing a few bits, like bar, chain and ......................................................................................................motor.

Don't worry Neil. Wayne is a cluey little buggar. He'll fashion up a motor in his shed using something like a washing machine and old hair dryer.

for a split second there I thought you were going to say,,,,,,

''He'll fashion up a motor by fileing, shapeing, cutting and sanding old Mac parts turning them into lovely after market Dolmar parts''.

Well thanks for the $10.00, and the kit as well, bloody lovely.

I did chop up a Mac air filter to fit a Oleo Mac.... but keep it quiet.

hows those 070's going old boy, paint hasn't faded as yet.

Na the 090's paint's pristine and no ring wear the 3120 is going to be the same another shelf queen can't cut the mustard like the Mac's

Morning fella's.

Off to work (via the café for brekky and a cuppa :D) and hopefully back this arvo to drag a fallen tree back into our place and block it up.

Serviced the 'new'(to us) ZT mower yesterday, geez they're fun to do doughnuts on :D
I'm going to get in trouble when SWMBO returns though with all the 'stopies' across the front 'lawn' :monkey:

Little sister is inheriting the old Murray ride-on that we scored derelict and broken from one of the studs.
Good, strong 14.5HP B&S on that one that no one could get started.

A little tip with the Brigg's OHV engines, the decompressor won't work if the valve clearances are out even a little and gives all the symptoms in the world of either a dud battery or the starter motor polling.
Reset the rocker clearances and they spin and start as free as a bird, yet a lot of people (including mechanics) aren't aware of it.

I know what you mean about the briggs, if its not right you can also break a rocker, like I mate says, then rings me
He mucks around with things that he knows nothing about , he shouldn't touch engines
Regards Peter

Gee you're a peanut Bob. I was only bagging your 070/090 copies as they are indeed crap. I owned one and gave it away. I sell a fair amount of Chinese stuff but a limited range as there is a lot of sh*t that comes out of that country. I think you must have had your blinkers on with what I was bagging and what you thought I was bagging.
As always you've gone off half cocked as the kit isn't even for Neil, it's for a farmer he knows.
As you were...

Just about to head down to the river where the 'newbie' bush fire fighters are doing some practice on the Cat 9 ute and Cat 1 tanker for their assessment tomorrow.
I'm going to reacquaint myself with how to turn on and pump up and out of the bloody things !

You don't do something for several months and it's all disappeared, vapourised from upstairs.

Bloody CRAFT disease :D

If you think saws are like the chinese stuff, and you don't keep many then either your full of sh-it, or your memory is like a bad compuiter - going down on you. I seem to remember you chalking up arguments on how good you are; were and will be OR maybe that is all sh-it to. Ohhh that's write you cant prove sh-it. Internet talk and copy chat is the limit.
Beware Bob, your shed full of saws; saw parts - bits and pieces will fall down.

If you cant say anything intelligent say nothing Dean, goodness gracious me .... the band wagon has bolted without you dean

Took the quad down to the river but they were playing silly buggers in the fire shed so I came home.
Near home a young bloke from up the road was on my neighbours Yammy 400 quad waiting at a corner to race me back.

Off he went, but I wouldn't play.
I stopped at the neighbours, had a yack to Nev (owner/operator of a genuine 090 no Chinese copies here, as well as an 076 and 056. He likes his old, heavy, bloated German iron) and young Jamie for half an hour, could see the tanker leave the shed on the other side of the river about 1500m away so started off.

Young Jamie was waiting for a race again and kept Braap Braap Braap, on the throttle, watching over his shoulder as I idled up to him.

Oh dear, old dog, young dog....

I just listened for his throttle, as soon as he came off, I gunned mine and was gooooooone.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha.

Newer Yammy 400 with girlymatic tranny and old fart aboard flogs older 400 Yammy with freshly rebuilt engine/g-box and nutter 16 YO as pilot.

Age and treachery defeats youthful exuberance again :D

The way I carry on? Bahahahahaha...
Let me tell you one thing, everything I sell has been tested. I had to drop a few lines of P&C kits that simply wouldn't hang together reliably. I pretty well only run half a dozen models now.
Out of hundreds of kits sold I've only had one fail which was a 460BB kit. I had a heap of free tests kits drop their guts though.

what a #### up booked air tickets for wife and son. At very end the transaction dialogue box asked to use secure master card code access at to finish payment,,,?? OK as I had no PIN of login in I declined and it then said transaction cancelled...
