Or at least finish the build, file or obtain some chains then fuel, oil and start the buggers :monkey:

Chains are no worries, got a trusty stihl file and soft chain (using furm strokes on the file), fuel no worries just add a little nitro, starting,,,,, of coarse I can start em,,, then watch out, 090 eye candy for the lucky spectators.:msp_thumbup:

I'll bite...

"what Neil ?" :D

we will see, I think the cell door opens tomorrow.

Party at your place??

I'll bring the marshmallows (for roasting on the fire)

No worries Rudi, just need to do a days work first, Matt said my job is kiddies play.

Just when you have had a crap day its good to get on here and have a laugh,it never fails

Luckily you don't use Stihl chain Neil. You'll never be able to file the stuff.
Rumour has it that the only way you can sharpen it is with a diamond wheel meant for Carbide chain.

Wow, gee i'm glad I don't use that chain, I do however use a stihl file, yea they are ok for me, I buy 1 at a time as 1 will last me a long time.

would you like a demo on how to file a chain mate, not a stihl chain but one of those other chains.

Did not. I said midgets.

That hurt,,,, i'm not going to demo,, chain sharpening with my trusty stihl file now. so there

Pfffft. When I came to visit you were using a $50 Chinese grinder. Pretty sure you don't know how to file.
When internet guru disappears another one pops up...

Be wasted on the Mattster Neil, he only knows how to use a grinder, he's incapable of holding a file as he gets the jitters.
I can't really say why he gets the jitters as this is a G rated forum :monkey:

Did you guys ever see that bloke on youtube who sharpened his chains with a 4" angle grinder freehand? Reneck ingenuity at its best...

At least a chinese grinder will give you reasonably regular shaped cutters.

Rudi, I had a bloke the other weekend hand me a box with a chain in it and asked me to touch it up. When I got home and finally took it out of the box the fix it up I dropped it on the floor and kicked it under the bench and called him up and said no go. My gawd it looked like someone had attacked it with an angle grinder after a carton of the local brew.

Hate to break to the news to the rest of ya's, but there was no chinny chinny bang bang's at gympie, and also at the 090 only race the week before, only fair dinkum stihl made 090's showed up

Hooroo

3 machines rolling in at once, an hour later the operation in full swing, the few local loggers had no idea as to how much wood we would produce in 1 day.
