If you knew anything about racing you'd know I build Will's race saws for him with an 18v Hitachi 5" grinder, a 7/32" Vallorbe file, plus some 600 grit wet & dry combined with a gobful of spit.
Wayne, Benny, and I have quite a racing association going on here unbeknowns to many.

Yep the MS 200 t event between me and Matt, the ms720, 070/ 070 replica event between me and Wayne, 50cc class matts 550xp, my 'standard' 026 & Wayne's lil dolmar and the unlimited class with Matt and his 3120 and me with the 090 AV and just added the MS 241 C-M class too :smile2:

Looks like a Dynamic geardrive , I think I can beat that one..but it would provide stiff competition for the chingaling 070

Oh I see, well I guess that would make a race then, concidering the old girl has the starter rope (wire) hanging out and maybe an odd bit missing like the petrol cap ect.
But she does have a roller nose bar for extra grunt and speed, does the chingaling 070 come with such modern equipment.

Why would that internet guru spend more than a year developeing and recording the chinese 070 if it was not going to start ??????. Bugger me I cannot remember his name, but there was a thread on the subject if you care to look.

I would have said about a 50 watt led to replace a 500w halogen flood.

On the back of my house pointed down the rest of the block I have a 500w halogen. I bought a 30watt led flood and fitted a cord and plug to it. It throws good light but won't light that same area - needs more wattage.

The led lights are also much heavier, so you may need a different mounting point too like into brick or solid timber (fascia). It would require some messing about for me as nothing solid is on the right line to mount this led light.

Instead my plan is to mount it over my firewood piles which are in a bit of a dark spot.

Yeah the light I got should be top quality as it came from a reputable lighting shop that do a lot of commercial design & supply work and have them in use in commercial and industrial settings, apparently including some inside sheds on mines running 24/7 and no failures.

And I sourced a houseful of lights from them now 7 years back and the one failure they replaced no worries even 18 months after purchase (I took it back and they exchanged it free, I actually hoped for a discount due to length of time).

No doubt there's Chinese junk out there too.

It is what it is.. a gutless piece of Chinese ****, making it look like a genuine 070 is stupid, I don't promote counterfeit saws.
I might be a backyarder but any project/repair I start I finish.

Now you want to buy it? , do you have any saws worth trading for this Chinese marvel? :msp_wink: Please no mac homeowner junk.

You need to doll your Chink 070 up with some genuine Stihl stickers mate. Then you'll gain everybody's respect
Also as far as a "backyarder" goes you exceed the capabilities of any backyarder I've come across. You've fixed saws that I would have given up on two seconds after laying eyes on them.
