Bob your right I don't like the Chinese 070, the build quality is rubbish but I didn't give up, I have it running and I don't want it looking like the real deal.
It is what it is.. a gutless piece of Chinese ****, making it look like a genuine 070 is stupid, I don't promote counterfeit saws.
I might be a backyarder but any project/repair I start I finish.

Now you want to buy it? , do you have any saws worth trading for this Chinese marvel? :msp_wink: Please no mac homeowner junk.

Got a Dolly 122 here with bar and chain interested ?

MCW I've got my ignore button flicked on sorry

Nothing wrong with being a back yarder Wayne, what I have seen of your saw restorations is something to be prowd of, and you use what you restore.

sorry guys, didn't mean to ruin everyones night

I mean at least with Rudd back they'll still lose the election but won't get pumped so hard that Labour will never be a functional party again.
Personally I think Rudd is a good bloke even though Labour couldn't run a rat up a drainpipe.

I can land them here for nearly half that price and half of my price is freight.

I imported one about 2 years ago, it's exactly the same as the saw he's selling... And they are rubbish
Comp was at 100psi:msp_confused:
It was running 2 base gaskets with sealer:msp_confused:
The Cylinder was based off a 362 and had square intake flange and open transfer ports:msp_confused:
The carbs are based off the early 362 and run lean....
And finally there was no impulse line coming from the crank case it was tapped into the transfer on the cylinder:msp_confused:

Hours of mod work and $150 in parts now it runs like it should....

P.s I only bought the saw to practise my mods on and couldn't handle trashing a $1500 dealer saw or my genuine 372xp I only paid $285!!! off flea bay

There are a lot of bad knock offs but there are a few good ones too. However even they require a new carby to keep up with a BB kit as like you mentioned they tend to run lean and inconsistently so under load. I imported mine to test my BB kits on and they held up well and continue to do so. One has had an issue with a little end bearing (not terminal but noticed during a top end swap) but other than that they've had very few problems.
