Pissing rain here for the second day in a row its fantastic sure needed it

Woke up this morning with it pissing down along with lightning all over the place, we got just over 30mm and heard of falls just over the 40mm mark around the place. Started out with the day off till the boss called that one of the other skidders has a flat so I went around to the tyre shop and picked up the spare. Headed 2 hours up the road only to find out we got someone elses spare and ours is nowhere to be found. Five hour roundtrip for bloody nothing :msp_mad: and I get to do it again tomorrow after pinching a tyre off the skidder in the shop for repairs

we always had a spare tyre rimed and ready to go.
these tyres were good ones to change, 2 x 44's of water in each then chains and every one can guess which tyres went down.
rolling chains onto the tyres takes some practice as well.

been pretty much continually bucketing down here. had over 80mm the other night, place is still boggy as hell and the track in is a km of slop. gunna need a couple of b doubles of limestone when it dries out a bit.
had some really nice days tho, today was glorious. drained a few litres of water out of the cruiser doors and got a full 9litre bucket of sand/dirt/gravel and .22 shells out of the footwells!
fair play to 'yota's paint dept. no rust anywhere! LUCKY!!!

Dammit!!!

Just got another bloody email update to Andrew's thread and Andrew is the one who is meant to have posted. But alas, Darren still has last spot.

Then I'm not getting email updates to other subscribed threads.

Some pics would be handy Is the new alt internal or external regulated?[/QUOTE

'ows about them then?

new 'un is internally reg'd. its a mitzi built one tho not off a mitzi

I am going to go by the pics and say the old one is externally regulated.

The large wire with the nut is the main power to the battery.

One of those smaller wires will be for the dash light the other no idea could be for a tacho or something like that to make it work you will need to un plug the external reg and plug the wire for the light on the alt to the wire for the light in the multi plug for the regulator and all should work but the clincher is working out what wire goes to the light is there anything on the alt where the wire blog is saying L or R

cannot view the vid, (megs finished this month) but know it will be cutting blocks.

actually the super 2 homey looks on par with the little dolmar saw I was given last weekend, can't tell what size is as top cover is missing.

Hah hah.
That saw was one a mate gave me that he found at the dump. He got it going and ran it's tits off for years.
Glad you got it going well Wayne.
Actually, has there ever been a saw you haven't been able to get going???
