Often wonder how often oil gets the blame for poor state of tune or an air leak leaning the machine out and causing a failure? Bob knows everything maybe he can answer it for me?

In an F1 car or race saws I can understand why you'd use ultra expensive oils but in work saws it hurts your wallet more than your saw :)

Cleaning ups a pain in the arse

The full synthetic from Jakmax is made by Alco in the US and the cheapest out there. Haven't seized a saw yet :)
If your saw hasn't had premature wear or seized then quite simply your oil is working.
Use the same gear as Stihl didn't have there fully syn gear at that stage. Still have 8l of the stuff so that should last me a while... Noticed it does burn a lot cleaner especially in my 4mix gear with 95oct fuel. No more funny exhaust smell that I got from the old castrol blue gear and std fuel. Spark plugs are cleaner and when I've pulled exhausts there is near zero carbon build up

That's a bit below the belt

I could hear the spit hitting your computer screen :)
Sorry mate, that was a bit rough and in all honesty I was physically ill after I wrote it. I felt extremely disgusted with myself. I've done some bad sh*t in my life but that was the worst...
I'll send you a card and a gift basket as an apology.
