Mines 4 pin, all locks, pins and hinges are internal .
what kinda locks did you use?

Old powerboard boxes make good safes too. All you need to do is patch a few switch holes up. Easy to find at scrapyards etc.
might be a good idea if there thick enough steel sheet ?

no mate, both mine are bought and are metal sheet.
yeah im just weighting up the cost difference of either welding one up, or buying one ...likely a 3hour drive either way to buy one

Do you have a minimum thickness in NSW?

there is a minimum of 3mm steel sheet construction for rifles ( 6mm sheet construction for pistols ) and no less than 6mm steel sheet for the door, that's for ' level 2 safe storage category C ,D, H . '

I cant find any sheet thickness regulations for level 1 storage ,cat A ,B ............................... so i can use a work locker i guess? long as its locking is at 3 points and has internal hinges, it also states if using a Pad lock it has to be no less than 40mm and hardened steel .

Matt I recieved that fast tach from the USA the other day what an awesome piece of kit works great thanks again for the lead $131.00 delivered to the door:rock:

I've had one for years there good if you are doing a few different types of ignition systems with multipul sparks per revolution and I like how it records the max rpm. But still not as good as the tach it replaced no buttons no rooting around straight out of the pocket and away it would go I still have it and should look at fixing it. Nt that I'm un happy with my fast tach

Hey guys! can someone here tell me the easiest way to change out a rim sprocket on a 550xp? l never thought l'd be asking this question but it aint as simple as a ms261 which l could do in 2 minutes. Pls don't tell me l need to put a piston stop in and make a special tool 2 fit in the holes on the clutch drum. lt's gotta be easier than that! HELP! I know these saws are light and handle well but this saw is starting 2 piss me off! l feel like just hitting it very hard with a hammer more than once.
