Is that what you use? Are they any good? Lol on a more serious note I'm looking at grinders who uses em and and what's a good one to go for? I'm looking at the Oregon 511ax or maybe a chinga copy if there of an ok build quality
Don't be too hard on them Matt, they were just trying to help.
He probably thought you never knew a chainsaw chain could be sharpened.
They're not trying to help at all. Just trying to be know all ******s.
They probably read in a book that blunt chains throw dust. Books obviously not written for Australian hardwood![]()

I see, this discussion has been had before, on line experts with incredible skills and knowledge.
Something a little different.
We had a new Efco saw in the arena last sat, as I know the owner / builder / competitor I was given the opportunity to have a little look see at it. It isn't finished yet but goes ok and was out of the 1st 3 placing this time, next time it may place in its class.

Just had another "sharpen your chain" comment on YouTube. If I'd have been cutting Pine instead of Casuarina I wouldn't have to put up with Northern Hemisphere softwood know alls...
They always associate dust with a blunt chain.
This will make you laugh Matty 2,,,,, I do have an ozito grinder from Bunning's, use it couple time a week for my log yard saws.
I normally grind a chain after work / night and its ok for that job.
There are much better quality grinders on the market and that's your choice depending on your needs.
Race chains ???? yea well they are not ground.
